Mysterious Remnants to Upgrade Items
This is a very rough idea and the examples posted below are probably under or over valued.
I think that items should be upgradeable with Mysterious Remnants. This means:
x Mysterious Remnants + Item = Improved Item
For example, you go to the interface and add your item, plus the following amount of Mysterious Remnants to get:
1000 Remnants to upgrade its enhancement bonus +1 higher
2000 Remnants to add a colorless augment slot
3000 Remnants to change its material type, such as cold iron, silver, byeshk, darkwood, and so on
4000 Remnants to increase its prefix or suffix ability to the next highest version of said ability
5000 Remnants to add a Red, Blue, or Yellow augment slot (red slots on applicable items only)
6000 Remnants to randomize the prefix or suffix to an equally rare one at the same power level
7000 Remnants to exchange the weapon randomly for a new weapon of equal rarity with random stats
8000 Remnants to add a Purple, Orange, or Green augment slot (purple and orange on applicable items only)
9000 Remnants to upgrade all abilities to the next highest type (+1 becomes +2, Bloodletting III becomes IV, Stone Prison becomes Greater Stone Prison, etc)
Note, that these upgrades will most likely change the minimum level of the item.
