They love high level guilds.
I know of 2 legit guilds that have gotten to level 200, renowned and Degenerate matter. Do I have 100% proof? No, but I do know that renowned has always been a leader in renown, I believe about a year and a half ago according to the old 'yourddo' they had like 140 million renown. And degenerate matter runs sagas constantly. I don't know of any other legit level 200 guilds.
And I feel like this thread may be directed at one of the legit level 200 guilds, unless there was another recent addition. Otherwise I don't know why you needed 2 threads to target them.

It can be done though. I'm in a fairly small guild and we've been knocking back a few guild levels a day by running sagas since the sagas came back. Its when they start jumping up 20 levels a day or so that you need to be worried ;)

Devs have specifically said that guild levels above 150 do not provide any further benefit to the guild and exist only for bragging purposes. And as such, renown decay is turned on at those levels.Quote:

And excitement is why you play the game so it affects a primary feeling of the game.
I repeat that only some people get such excitement from this. You probably are not one of them. Neither am I (happy in a level 57 guild). But there are some people and it matters a lot to them.
