My personal top 3 wishes list for DDO

Gimme a ring of three wishes and I would love to see in DDO...

1.) Guild Renown decay done away with completely. See this thread here.

2.) A better readable forum w/o automatic logout after a very short time and after posting anything or changing anything. The old forum was way better than now and makes me wonder if Turbine even had a web designer doing this or if the marketing intern did the job.

3.) Lagfree server experiences. Is this only me or since they introduced the ribbons and exchanged the hamsters with kobolds the lag has gamebreakingly increased?

4. A way to reset XP penalties or a timer so that over time they slowly diminish.

5. Gold Seal hirelings in raids.

1) Fix the over abundance of bugs in the game.

2) Start using a big, tall, red pointy hat with the word DUNCE on whoever is responsible for the terrible forum upgrade.

3) Allow hirelings in raids or a solo mode for raids so players new to them can go in and learn at their own pace, and experience the lore.

A new quest journal where all the DM text from a quest is stored after you finish it.Maybe add what monsters say too.
It could also show only the DM text triggered while questing, making players go back in order to unlock more of the DM text or story in general of a quest.

An expansion with a city with a castle and a harbor, in forgotten realms. Maybe also add guild houses instead of ships for the people feeling sea sick,or air sick.

Daily random events .It could also be random encounters in the city, like how it is in explorer areas but without monsters and with reward guild renown or favor.

my wishes.

1. Fix repeating crossbow attack speed penalty (-10%) if you hold attack button down. it is a total pain to click around 42 times/minute or more especially since it needs precise timing to avoid getting stuck at crossbow reload.
yes, this affects all levels, all classes (not tried Artificer if it doesn't affect them.... i'll be mad)

yes, that means around 3 to 4 attacks/minute at most. amount of bolts "lost" is 9 to 12 and damage/bolt? for lvl 18 pure rogue with no good gear, 9d6+12 in SA damage alone for each bolt. (189 to 792 total) add to that actual bolt damage which is not all that small either, it counts up as a big loss in DPS.

yes.. some will say bleh, crossbow? assassin/melee is better, add epics and whole world goes upside down and that damage is meaningless. for those who *care* about epic.. it might be. For me? it does. I live in 1 to 20 range only.

2. Forum.. well... this update is... not perfect. auto log-out happens way too often and that cannot be avoided as easily as using community provided stylesheet overrides.

3. umm.... bugs? maybe? i'm not sure. i've not played since emergence of problem 1. (which is U11 aka artificer update which did fix "vanishing bolts" but... introduced other things)

Fix 1. and i'll start playing again. fix 2. and i'll be happier (and lot others will be also i think) and.. 3

1. Change the forums back to the way they were before

2. Do as much as possible to improve the lag problem.

3. Scale explorer areas on both heroic and epic levels to n/h/e with increasing difficulty and rewards.

1) eliminate guild decay

2) change the 10% death penalty so that it only impacts the person dying. I don't care personally, but it seems like a lot of people are bothered by losing 10% and avoid grouping for this reason. This could encourage grouping more.

3) eliminate guild decay

The devs had the right idea when they reduced guild decay significantly for large guilds so that leveling was not a problem. Now it's time to do the same for all guilds.

1. Eliminate Guild Decay with extreme prejudice.

2. Hirelings in Raids (even if gold seal)

3. Complete and utter removal of Guild Decay.

...and Darkvision

(1) Change forum login/logout settings or preferences to allow for a longer log-in time
(2) Make TRing more appealing - we're not getting lots of fancy new content, make the hamster wheel less tedious

1) Eliminate guild decay or alternatively make it reasonable for guilds of all sizes
2) Allow me to log in with my real account on the forums. I still can't.

The 2nd is not a big deal - I can live with having to start over on the forums.
