If I had to choose one of those past lives it would be sorcerer. +1 DC to evocation spells help with a lower DC Blade Barrier as highest level of spell artificers get is 6 so it can't be heightened beyond that. You're missing out on 3 DC off the bat.
Second choice would be ranger. +2 Damage from ranged weapons? Gold.
