what i find shocking is, that its still not even in the known issues list... THE Premier new melee epic feat and no function. Thats just embarassing.
I would bet that bugs are stack ranked for severity, and that this one hasn't yet climbed to the top.
This is pretty simplistic, of course. It doesn't take into account Capacity, Analysis or Expertise. Still, only so much can be done, and unless Turbine uses the Ouija development model, your fix is likely still climbing the list.
OWC isn't as hot as Adrenyline and ... I'll check back with you and see if it's still borked.Quote:

Adrenaline is a a melee epic destiny ability not an epic feat, and the person specified feat. On top of that, anyone with the required feats can get overwhelming critical (that will probably be most or all fighters once they LR or TR due to an abundance of feats and most THF Barbs as they need cleave anyway and THF line can be sacrificed for the other 2 required feats. I also have a thief acrobat that I fitted it on). On the other hand only those with Fury of the Wild will have adrenaline since it is a innate ability. Which means that once OWC works again it will probably be something more epic chars have then adrenaline. So adrenaline really isn't as hot as OWC will be when it is fixed.Quote:

I've been meaning to test this for a while now and I finally got around to doing it. This is on live U14.2 with no ED-related stuff (using lvl 1 Grandmaster), no rages, no frenzies, no crit multipliers of any kind except for my default feats. Using Epic Sword of Shadow, Blasting Chime, and DT with Destruction rune to score crits on the planar portal.
Ignore the 0:00 timers on the hotbar, it's a known bug. I'm not actually raged.
First screenshot is crit on a roll of 17 as it says in the combat log.

Second screenshot is a crit on a roll of 20. It got cut off in the combat log, but you can see Manslayer proccing and Manslayer ONLY procs on a 20.

Difference is only 3 points of damage? Obviously it should be 100 or more. Feat is broken.

It's actually a simple bug fix. The feat was misnamed and should have been called "underwhelming critical". It actually does nothing and is wai.
Nope, they're spending their time nerfing things rather than making things we would like to have work properly, work properly. This particular one irks me a lot. I play pretty much nothing but melee and have two toons that would benefit from this working. Be nice to have vorpal fists work properly too since I respecced my monk just to take it. But they won't address these till they have thoroughly nerfed everything that is working properly and bringing us enjoyment.Quote:
