Lvl 1-4 on 36pt Caster(or melee), BEST Kobold Beaters

Hello needing to do quite a few more caster PLs, I was wondering what everybody thinks the best weapons were for level 1-4(or 5) until the better AOE Spells start coming in.

Melee Hireling with spells at 1-4 are pretty good, but I was just hoping a melee aproach would be faster.

Best Weapon options to use as a pseudo-melee type(??);

lvl 1- +2 'Icy Burst' Greatsword of Monstrous Humanoid Bane (Korthos beater...Rosy Swamp Pearls + Festivult Icy)
lvl 2- Maelstrom(too rare for me to get this, need something else)
lvl 3- Crafted Kobold beater?????
lvl 4- Carnifex

Basically I'm looking for what is the BEST KOBOLD BEATER for lvl 1&3:

lvl 1 options:
+1 'Icy Burst' Weapon of Lesser Reptilian Bane (Festival Icy Burst on Icon of Khyber turn in)
+0 Weapon of Reptilian Bane(Cannith Crafted)
+0 Acid Weapon of Lesser Reptilian Bane(Cannith Crafted)
+2 Weapon(Cannith Crafted)

lvl 3 options:
+0 Acid Weapon of Reptilian Bane(Cannith Crafted)
+0 Anarchic Weapon of Lesser Reptilian Bane(Cannith Crafted)
+1 Acid Weapon of Lesser Reptilian Bane (Cannith Crafted)
+1 Weapon of Reptilian Bane(Cannith Crafted)
+3 Weapon(Cannith Crafted)

anybody have any better options? I'm no melee expert :P

Burning hands or acid splash with a sup erosion/inferno clicky will one shot kobold, niacs for shammies with freeze

I just want to say that is better go with the higher bonus possible on the weapon, so i suppose +3 anything at lvl 4?
In the early levels dice system sucks and we have some problem to hit

Icy burst from risia Holy Greataxe with a Guild slot, slotted with Attack bonus, thats what i used, adding +1, +2, +3 every odd lvl (lv3-5-7).

ML 0 BTA +3 weapons off Chronscope End Reward Lists, with Festivult Icy Burst. I'd use a good one like Falchion until Carniflex and even then.

Like I said in your other thread, +0 Reptilian Bane ranged weapon becomes a +5 (or +3) weapon with the right ammo.

+5 Reptilian Bane weapon at level 1 is nice. Ranged is nice.

Masters Touch and the Carnifex great axe from Deleras is what I use on lower levels to melee.

scimitars, rapiers, falchions, great axe, kukris...

depending on race or masters touch spell or scroll from another brother if 2hdr ;)

Keen Falchion of Bleeding with + from whatever Guild slot you have.
The attack bonus helps a lot. Found it still useful to save SP til around lvl 15 when in small groups or soloing

Then undead beaters for Delera's can be fun too

i have a lv 4 +1 shocking burst icy burst of bleeding and +1 force dmg wraps which work amazing!!!!!!!!

Okay I am confused here, as an experienced player using a 28 point ungeared wizard with Masters touch and a Greataxe can get through levels 1-5 in a few of hours.

So I figure that either:

a) I am the only to roll a 20 against the most successful troll thread EVAR...

OR

b) I am the only one to roll a 1. (I KNEW dumping INT on all toons would come back to haunt me...)


I am honestly really confused here....

Often, threads like this are talking about 36-point builds which need more XP than you do to level and run on Elite which is harder than Normal is. This is why the OP has posted this.

well a +0 something 2 handed of greater reptillian bane with a guild slot and masterfull craftsmanship + masters touch + bulls strengh

thats +4 to hit and 3d6 of bane damage
