Roll one, or invite one to your group.
Asking for nerfs is stupid and pointless in a group- and goal-oriented game.
Please stop.

Is this a call to DDO to nerf all water savants b/c you think they are OP in PD?
B/c if this is just for PD, can't you just make a rule within your guild to disallow them?
Water savants are the single target DPS kings. They make excellent raid nukers at high levels. The are fine for the way the game was designed.
Werent you the guy telling me a couple mid level sorcs couldnt smoke most content at level in this game? -heh.
This is D&D - casters are supposed to be gods. I dont favor the "balance" of sammich MMO games where the casters are mashing the same three buttons as everyone else, but the effect on the screen looks slightly different.
THIS...
Nerfs have hit every build I've made, melee, caster or otherwise. I'm sick of it. This is a group oriented game. "balance" is not only unachievable in an mmo, it's utterly pointless to bother trying to achieve it in a PvE game. PvP is something to do while you are waiting for your group to fill. It deserves absolutely no consideration from the developers.
someone finds a way to maximize their output, it gets nerfed, then something else rises to the top. More people whine, that gets nerfed and so on and so on and so on. It's quite possibly the biggest waste of developer resources possible. It's utterly pointless.
+1
...and why is this post in Perma-death & Static Groups again?
I honestly do not get the "please nerf" whatever threads. If this were a game that was primarily pvp I would understand but the existence of water savants do not in any way harm my ranger for example. Melees in general could use a little love though.
To summarize, don't knock certain classes (builds) down just build other classes up. It would make many more people happy I suspect.
Seriously enough is enough.... Will you never be happy..????
Nerf this Nerf that,... then WHY OH WHY DID YOU NERF MY TWF........ RAGE QUIT.
I say don't like it don't play it or don't allow your guild to play one.
Don't ruin it for all because you think they are OP.
Not just no but **** no!
It absolutely IS WAI, and is not as OP as you think it is. It is full damage or nothing. No other ray spell in the game is like this, and once you get past the early, already-easy levels, it is a functional spell without being OP. Not to mention that, as an ice savant, we have NO cheap ways of taking care of many undead to include skellies and liches, and do reduced damage to many others.
Having this one spell (which is single target damage, ice's focus) makes up for the abysmally horrid snowball swarm being the tier 2 spell.
Leave my ice savant alone!
Obvious neg-rep troll is obvious.
Nerf Duncani please! Make the mobs and other classes more powerful please. Do we really need to ask them to make something worse? Especially a player classes? That is why we lose people in game. They put time and effort into making their toons, and then suddenly, one update, and bam!, their toon is gimped. Stop wasting peoples time with useless posts. There is a reason why you have Rep disabled.....
You are exactly the reason I will never play PD. Because, if I did, it would Mean only grouping with people like you.
Calling for the nerf of anything so that it can benefit the vast minority of players who value your playstyle (at the cost of the vast majority of everyone else) transcends annoying and becomes ignorant at the best and selfish elitism at the worst.
There was a thread that came out just after u9, calling for a nerf of heat death. The poster said it was OP because it allowed fire savant sorcs to kill anything in pvp with a single shot. He was ignoring the vast majority (just like you) who play pve, and who run in endgame content that is almost entirely made up of monsters entirely immune to the effect.
Nerfs should never happen because something makes the game easier for 1% of Turbine's costumers. They probably never will happen because ****ing off most of the income isn't a good business model.
Stop complaining about a game mechanic that was never intended for only your use. If you really hate it that much, just don't use it. If you did that for the rest of the game, why would it be so hard for this one aspect?
/rant
Nerf guard builds!!! They do nothing but stand there and get hit and can do 100's of points of damage every time they get hit! This can not be!
Nerf ac tanks!!! There are still quests where they only get hit on a 1! This can not be!
Nerf broccoli!!! Healthy AND tasty! THIS CAN NOT BE!!!!!
Or we can settle down and enjoy DDO. Hrm...I like that choice better.
If it will make you feel better, know that I also favor nerfing Half-orc Fighters. :) Level 4 toons were just never meant to start with a 24 strength. And level 12 toons who run in level 12 quests weren't meant to have a 40 strength either.
Nerfing has been part of the game from the beginning, and anything overpowered is a candidate. Remember the nerf to batman builds in the form of evasion only for light armor? Here's one for ya: remember the nerf to Holy Smite? I was there and it was lame lame lame.
Maybe Niacs that do 400 points of damage at level 6 SHOULD be part of DDO. But who could argue that it should only cost 2 spell points? Never a reason NOT to spam that button. And this is fun for others in the party? "Your skills are not needed here, just pike and collect your pay check."
This is in a PD thread because PD is what I play 99.9% of the time. In my guild, we don't ever use shrines and even with the restrictions, sorc savants are proving to be a kill joy. I doubt the Devs will ever read this thread-- it's directed to the PD community at large.
Face it Mo, turbs vision of DDO is easily zerging to 20 in a couple of weeks. I heard Jerry say it on DDOcast. "DDO is about winning, not losing". Most of the players want fast, easy progression. The only way to maintain challenging progression is to adjust our rules. Eventually turb will surpass our ability to do that with a reasonable rule set, and some great guilds and communities will be lost. Sucks, but might as well enjoy the ride while we can. DDO is not forever.
No More NERFs.
Just make everything else stronger.
