Fix loot assigning system in chests!

Tired of having situations where someone passes something to someone else in a chest, but just as they click the name of that person on the drop down menu, someone leaves the group, causing the names on the drop down menu to change, often ending up with the item getting passed to someone who has already left the quest.

This is a frustratingly stupid and wasteful game mechanic, please fix it soon. :mad:

What got misplaced for you Astra?

How about a 5 minute timer after quest completion. After that anything left in chests in the quest is a free-for all.

I like this idea too. I hate to see unclaimed stuff, even if it is junk I'd take it and sell it to a vendor.

The drop-down list won't change if someone whose name is on it leaves the quest/explorer area. However, I've given stuff to the wrong name more than once due to the fickle nature of clicking on small names.

Pikers only prosper 'if' it is left in a chest and after 5 minutes from quest is finished though. Not much piking if people claim it when the chests are first opened...could be interesting if people start hasting and racing around to all the chests after the quest is over though. :)

A simple confirmation box "Are you sure you would like to pass your item to player X?" or "Are you sure you would like to pass your item to player X? That player is no longer in the dungeon." would solve many problems and wouldn't be too hard to code I'd think.
