Request:Bound to Login?

This probably won't fly. It is probably something that would be so hard to implement and benefit so few people that it isn't worth it. However, just in case it is incredibly easy, I thought I'd toss it out there.

There are some folks out there (including myself) who have multiple accounts. While I *love* the account bank and the changes to make things bound-to-account... it still prevents me from moving equipment from one account to another under different logins.

With that in mind it might be nice to have the ability to have those "account" type options "login" type options.

Again, just putting the nugget out there. If it is *super* easy. If not, forget it.... but you never know until you speak up. :)

They won't do this simply because it means people would have many free to play accounts instead of getting more character slots and shared bank on one main account.

Maybe my reading comprehension is off, but from what I am getting, you want something to be bound not just across a single account, but multiple? I am not even sure how that would be possible (because you would have to somehow verify that all the accounts truly belonged to the same person).

Yup, that's about it. Under the same login. Maybe it is different if you only have one account, but with multiple you do your login name/password then you select account, then you select world.

Like I said, I would imagine it would be extraordinarily difficult. If, however, it turns out that it would be easy-breezy...

It wouldnt be easy to implement since they would need a verification system. Otherwise the Item would be unbound.

But the real problem is, that this would underminde Turbines moneymaking for the simple fact Gnorbert pointed out. You wouldnt need to buy more slots. I for example would build several f2p accounts simply to use them as Bank mulis. They wouldnt need anything in regards to Advnturepacks (mayb Necropolis since its a good spot for Mulis).

And the abuse potential would be given also. Imagine a complete guild would identfy as a single Entity.

Let me try to understand what you mean:

Currently, you enter your username and password, then see a list of servers, then a list of characters.

You want to enter a username and password.... then you see a list of accounts. Then you enter another username and password, and see a list of servers.... then your characters.... etc.

Is that what you want? I hope you can see that grouping multiple accounts together doesn't make sense if you are going to access them from another username and password. Why not just have one?

This might be different if you only have one account under your login, but what *I* see when i login is this...

1) Login name/password ->
2) List of Accounts ->
3) Servers ->
4) Character List.

I am guessing, from some of the responses, that people with one account per login do not see #2.... but I assure you, that link does exist. :)
