It seems during gameplay, the drivers stop working. I have no issues with this headset for any other game or application. The fix is for me to switch drivers in the audio settings within DDO, then set them back to the Razer drivers. It is extraordinarily annoying and I am wondering why I have problems only with DDO.
Anyone else have this headset and know a fix?

I know nothing of the headset in question.
Is it a USB headset?
If so, when was the last time you updated the drivers to it? or rolled back the drivers?
If not, when was the last time you updated the drivers for your sound card? or rolled back the drivers?
I got a megaladon a few days ago. There is a firmware update that fixed some of the initial annoyances but I have had the problem you reported occur too and I was able to fix it the same way.
Razer does **** for sound drivers in my opinion. I'm looking forward to ditching their craptacular soundcard.
Finally looked at this again. Thanks for the tips I upgraded the software and we shall see what happens.
