I'll give you the advice that I learned the hard way (after burning out my 2x8800GTs): by default, your video card fan will operate at 40% or less. I highly recommend that you crank that up to between 90% and 100%, depending on how loud it gets and when the noise starts to bother you (makes little difference on my card).
On my video card, this drops the operating temperature while playing DDO by a whopping 10 degrees Celsius (:eek:!).
