The best of Sarlona

In the spirit of the threads recognizing people from our server for doing things well, I would like to thank some people who are largely responsible for making the server a good place to hang out...

Chiefly I am talking about the people who make (pug) parties. I admit it... I am not great at putting together groups. I don't like having to choose between being inclusive and putting together a group I know will succeed. I don't like having to lead a group that may or may not follow the leader... or may not even be listening. I don't like having to deal with party drama. As a result, I don't throw up a lot of lfm's.

Some people do though, and to those I say thanks. Admittedly, some people are better leaders than others. But really, anyone who throws up an lfm and muddles their way through leading a quest is contributing to the fun of the server.

A special commendation goes out to all those who really know how to run a good group, with good leadership and good humor. It is the group leaders, whatever class they are that really make the game. These people are the true "best of sarlona".

Agreed, the party leader is always the most important spot and personality also goes a long way into making a good leader.

Huh, what are these LFM things you speak of? You can ...create.. those? But .. what if whatever comes isn't sanitized?! :p

Haven't ran in a true PUG in a while. Was never afraid to throw up an LFM when I did. Still put up LFM's to fill out the last spot or two if we don't have enough guildies on to fill out the group. Guess you could say I've gotten a bit guild snobbish when I run. Always good to see new faces and always willing to help out new players though.

yes i agree i give props to those who can lead a good group..im still a newb my self i can build a good group, but leading one im not so good im tryin if u got any tips for me send me a pm...
