PvP is nearly impossible with exploiters, and the horrible lag.

As well as, plain BAD spells... Say...power word stun, ***? That can be used in pvp why exactly? No saves, and you get killed right after being stunned by anyone who can use it....

the lag...well...when someone throws a cone of cold in front of them, and your 20 feet behind them, and you still get hit by it? There's a problem there...

Exploting....(Combat): You attempt to save versus flesh to stone. You roll a 20 (+22): save failure Umm.....right....because that's possible....(is it? really, if so, explain plz)

Yea....almost impossible to find a good match in pvp with all this goin on...

pvp is not something the development team for DDO is incredibly focused on...the only reason it's there is because some players enjoy it, although the main focus of the game is elsewhere

nothing is gained in DDO through PVP

10+8 (spell level) + 15 (40 int/cha) +2 (item boosting spell DC) +1 (school of focus)=36 right there and it can even be higher

The highest possible FtS DC is 37 including both abjuration feats, an alchemical potion and spellsinger. That's pretty **** rare IMO. there is no +2 abjuration focus item that I'm aware of ..

maybe you were debuffed and it wasn't showing up in the log, can't explain it really

If he rolled at 20 that's it, there's on reason to go further. He should have saved.

Until I see a screenshot I'm gonna doubt he rolled a natural 20.

How 10+8 + 15 +2 +1 = 44 is beyond me.

He says he rolled a 20, the DC could be 20000 and it wouldn't matter.

Typeos aside, why would you even care to offer the potential DC of FtS if he rolled a 20?

Spellcasters in PvP aren't balanced...and they shouldn't be. PvP is an afterthought; something to do to pass the time or goof around. Don't take it real seriously. Whom ever has the fasted computer, least lag, fastest conection, ect. ,will usually win in a Spellslinger battle. There is no way around it. Just hop in, blast someone and get blasted yourself. It's still all in good fun if you leave Ego's at the ledge. The death matches are closer to being balanced as everything goes in there. ( And you generally have time to set up since you start on opposite sides.)

Because its a valid spell. I don't get a save against your vorpal either. Oh and you can get spell resistance you know, that will stop it.

Even if somehow the saves aren't working right its hardly an exploit, its a bug.

Chill....its only PvP anyway, that's not even part of the game really...
