Which would you use?

I am a ranger and am having trouble deciding if I should take the feat imrpoved critical slash and use 2x +3 flaming burst kukris or stay with +2 holy burst SS, +2 holy burst rapier. I don't have the feats to swap out for oversized TWF and I know the crit range with kukris is better and I would crit more but a lot of things in mod 6 are immune to fire and everything seems to be evil. So I'm asking for some advice, do you think the kukris are more dmg on mobs that aren't immune to fire compared to holy burst on the same mobs?

Rapiers are going to offer you the best DPS in general, and Holy hits everything but the animals/eles in mod 6. Use a Rapier/SS combo if you can't fit OTWF.

well, if you do not plan on switching weapons(ah-ing or even at the vendor might get you better stuff depending on yer funds)

I'd say stick with you rapier/ss - and if you dont have it already, get imp crit pierce for those, you will se a dramatically increade in damg with that.
all it really boils down to is to decide if you want to go for piercing or slashing weapons - and take the appropriate imp. crit. feat to reflect yer choice.

with the info you've provided the rapier/ss combo with holy burst and imp crit pierce will be the best choice, DPS wise.

choosing between piercing and slashing is really a matter of: race(for racial enhancements to certain weapons), if you are using weapon finesse for you to hit(a dex based character benefits more from piercing due to the weapon types) and which do you like the best!, it is after all ment to be fun to play :)

IMO, Overhand Two Weapon fighting aint worth the feat. Its only -2 to hit on your off hand, and with +40s or better to hit at level 16, that aint gonna matter much.

I say stick with two rapiers bro.

Without oversize its actually -4/-4 with 2 rapiers, -4/-2 with offhand light.
with oversize its -2/-2 with 2 rapiers, -2/-2 if offhand light
So if you are just about always fighting with 2 rapiers and have a weapon focus feat, oversize will give better tohit for the cost of 1 feat.
