New Content Idea - A third part to Threnall

I noticed while completing Threnall ruins south which basically completed the story arc there were many loose ends that never got tied up.

Such as who is the character that looks like Coyle but is not. Who murdered the first party in threnall West? We are TOLD of what happened, but what really happened?

My idea is to make a sequel to Threnall Ruins.
Just put it in the same place as threnall with new quests and a final raid. Similar to how LOTD went.

I mean Stormreaver is technically a sequel to Tempest SPine and Shan-to-Kor is a sequel to Waterworks. Why not one for Thren?

Yu could go further and even continue with other quests like CO6 or VON or even some of the other "chain" quests like delara.

I mean its great to go back and see these quests again but made for the higher level characters.
Thats how you can make VON still viable to like say a level 20.

There should also be more decision matrixes in quests such as an evil line and a good line.

Ya think the OP is way off on this there is already 3 parts to threnal. If he was wanting a 4th then ya.. They made the possibility for a 4th part when they created it. Remember the last part of south 3? You beat up the giants, notice the coyle dude killed on the ground, take thier loot, and there is a portal that don't go anywhere. All they need to do is make it port you to somewhere.. Hmm I don't know maybee another plane of existance..

Just to get the facts straight :)
- The character that looks like Coyle is in fact Coyle. His body wasn't among the ones found at the end of South1. Coyle was a traitor, either at his own will or under some mind-control of sorts.
- West has no murdered parties. The miners fled when they saw Flesh Renders and chief-engineer Derward was captured somewhere along the way.
But I do like your idea. Litz and Vorn offer the most obvious option; have the portal in South3 take you to Xoriat. That fits well with Turbine's announced interest in extraplanar quests :)

East and South are one combined story arc, think that's what the OP meant.

I'd be in for this. A truly high-level quest in Threnal, preferably minus the ubiquitous and irritating slimes and rust monsters.

Plenty of potential in this area and its storyline, IMO, for an entire Mod.

Just to clarify, the Stormreaver is actually the sequal to VoN. Tempest Spine is stand-alone and really doesn't have a sequel.

Although, a sequel to Delera's or CO6 (CO6 is actually the sequel to Greymoon) would be interesting.

One of the things that made the Evil Resurgent Mod great was how it revisited many old story arcs or story characters. I know back in the day I always wondered what was behind the force field with the golems in Mirras sleepless night. Well that question was answered with a bunch of icy skeletons and icy mindflayers.

So I very much enjoy the idea of sequels and revisiting beloved story arcs.

Im talking about another part to threnall.
It stops at south. Why not another section to this. Add on something to a relatively good story.

Is it. i remember something in the stormreaver line that Sor'jek had something to do with the Reaver and VON even.

Anyway, IMO opinion there should also be another arc to the Stormreaver since if I was running that quest PNP I would not have killed the Reaver. He was not an evil character afterall.

I have no problem if they do it prior to release. They will just have to give us a Super Mario Brothers way to sneak past them... :)
