It would be real nice if arcanes could get a construct-only version of raise dead.
In my guild we are headed towards occasional all-WF parties soon, and it would be nice not to have to rely on UMD to raise our fellow constructs.
Thoughts? :D

WF cleric. They can be great battleclerics and provide the essential clerical things for robots.
Hmmph sorry very sleepy and at work so dont have my book to refresh my memory but they need to add the class from the eberron book and give that class a higher level spell to do that. But not wizards or socerers in general
That seems reasonable...
This goes back to the argument of whether or not warforged have souls. It has not yet been officially confirmed whether or not they do in fact have souls.
If they do have souls, then this would be the realm of divine magic to lead that soul back to the body. If not, then arcane magic should be enough to do it.
If you dont want to make a wf cleric, try a bard. There's a great build for a wf battle bard in the bard section of these forums.
Is that the recaster you're refering to? They get access to a couple spells of their choice from other classes, but this prestige class is only available to shifters. Artificers would also be able to fill this role with umd.
now if they could bring in Reincarnation.. (Im a 1st ed guy don't know if its 3rd).. that would be wicked cool...
Dont like the idea. Would be handy at times Ill admit but would just feel very wrong for arcanes to have the ability to bring anyone back to life. Animate a dead body sure:D , but to breathe the life into a being should always require the divine. Even for robots.:)
Artificers built the creation forges and artificer magic is not classified; it is neither arcane, nor divine. However, they can still make items with arcane and/or divine magic by making umd checks. So the creation forges could have had divine magic involved. The details of their crafting is however a very closely guarded secret.
I don't see how animating a dead body is all that different than raising a dead toaster...err i mean construct :D
As for WF clerics, they cant heal the other WF very well, and raise dead is easy enough with UMD for our WF sorcs.
In any case, raising the dead WF isnt really the point. I just think its a natural progression to give arcanes the ability to raise WF, since they get all the repair spells.
Reincarnation would be AWESOME.
Imagine....
Player #1: I am bored today, wonder what it would be like to be a female dwarf!
Player #2: Let's find out! I'll go get my cleric/druid, and we'll have some fun seeing what random race/gender we can get!
Player#1: Cool!

My misunderstanding of Eberon lore then.... I'm a 3.0 person myself and never picked up an Eberon book :D
Still, the arcanes are the ones capable of repairing them more easily than devine casters and arcanes can create constructs so I still think it makes sense that they can do the big repair job to get them up from the dead.
Also, from a playablity standpoint, warforge get huge hatered and discrimination from a portion of the player base. Why not give Wizards/Sorc who have such an interest (particularily WF ones) the abilty to become a WF cleric of sorts?
Arcanes should be able to raise dead via the wish spell so hopefully that will make it in with level 9 spells and you will have your "wish".
