Can't put on reaper wings

Myself and another friend in game are unable to put on reaper wings. We both get the following error when clicking on the bottle - "You already have the feat this item would grant. Check your Feat list!"

But it isn't there (we've both had wings a long time and have used them on dozens of lives...

I am having the same problem with the same error....

"You already have the feat this item would grant. Check your Feat list!"

But the flask stays in the inventory and no feat is present.
