Welcome to the Cross Server Daily Dice Trade Emporium!

After extensive market research, it looks like there are some very attractive tradable items which can be obtained through the Silver and Gold daily dice rolls. With efficient rolling techniques you can get roll times on all 9 servers down to around 6 minutes and if you do this every day (or even 8 or 9 times per week if you are diligent with the dice roll times each day) you can start building up quite a nice stack of items, many of which you can trade. (including some very cute, slightly contraband pets!)

We have assembled a conglomerate of fellow minded traders who are listing their tradable wares for each world. Personally, I hope for a straight trade but may be attracted by an item of similar value. Fellow traders and their home locales as well.

By 'cross server trade' I mean you pass the item to me on Orien and I pass the same item to you on your server of choice. If you are interested in any of my wares below please do drop me a line. I have not listed anything from the Hardcore server as items are easily transferable to the home server at the end of each season.

Popular items are listed in yellow and the most popular Sentient XP and Astral Shards are listed in red - I'll trade these items for the equivalent or near equivalent to the Orien server.
I usually trade all other small items with a bigger item trade as the recipient prefers. For example, if you are interested in collectibles and Cannith Essences, I'll include all I have with the trade for free. If you want potions, DDoor scrolls and Bigbys Hands, I will include those - as you like!

No thank you, not interested in moving toons. If you're asking wether it is worth it generally? Yes, well I guess so, if you have a need in that respect.

I'm asking about cross server trades. This was quite popular during the card trading anniversary event. For people who are rolling dice on all servers you can trade stuff on one server to get a return trade on another server. If there are items that are worth trading for in this cross server manner it might be worth making the dice rolls on each server.

Nope, moving characters between servers is not a very common form of cross server trading.
Say your main server is X, make a die rolling character on each server and when you get something nice on server Y trade that to someone there who can return something nice to you on server X.
That's kind of the concept behind this whole forum category.

I just got a pet from a gold dice roll, looks like that is unbound so pets and sentient xp look like attractive items to trade. Anyone see any other trade-able prizes in the lists?

The wise thing to do if you roll on each server would be to roll those dice when then character fills up with goods if it is worth the points transfer that character to your server and you get all the hearts and tomes you rolled. Nobody is going to cross server trade Daily Dice stuff.

Hmm, don’t know if I’d be so into it to transfer a whole character with the DDO point cost involved. Would prefer to just stick to cross server tradables - that’s free. Never know though, with a full backpack of items a move might be worthwhile. Some rare +8 stat tome or something would be pretty attractive. Would need to get another character slot though on the main server - or kill a mule ;(

That would work, I think pets are tradable too. I’m liking what I see for tradables here and will start rolling on each server in earnest. I’ll start listing all cross server tradables in the OP too.

Wow, good day of rolling but not a lot of big ticket tradables, I got a Sentient Tool kit, Mirror of Glammering, Robe cosmetic and +5 Intimidation tome - all are BtA unfortunately.
I still think pets are tradeable but will have to see and the Jewelers Kits definitely are.
There are a good amount of lesser items around that can be worth something in numbers like Cannith Essences and I believe Remnants.

By removing the language loading screens from the DDO game loader I've gotten the server run down to just over 10 minutes.

How you remove language loading screens?

There are a lot of threads on the forums on how to bypass those loading screens from over the years. After a quick look, this thread (https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/504373-Downloading-quot-XX-Loading-Screen-quot-workaround) is the closest to the changes I made and pretty easy to follow although I did not do things through Steam.

I dragged another shortcut to the DNDlauncher.exe that you should have with all of your other DDO files and added the following to the 'Target' space in the shortcut information window:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Turbine\Dungeons & Dragons Online\DNDLauncher.exe" -skiprawdownload -nosplash

Creature Companions are indeed tradable, any time I get one it goes on the Auction House.

Purified dragonshards are all BTA.

Essenses are tradable, remnants are not.

I'll keep an eye out for any pets that I get.

Just got a Jewelers Kit on Ghallanda today so will add that to the OP.

Ooo I found maybe the most attractive item of all, 'Sentient XP Gems (https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Sentient_XP_Gem)'. I went through my stock and found 2 different 500 Sentient xp gems on 2 different servers. I listed them with an updated and expanded list in the top post.

Trade to Orion.

1 to 1 exchange or for some items can negotiate with astral shards.

Hard to find items like Luminescent dust is 1-1 shard exchange.

Yes, I did list in the OP that I'd list the Collectors Boxes and would need to open them for exchange. For facilities sake and to prevent confusion it would probably be best to crack them open and list the contents as well. Could save backpack space too as the mats can go in the shared materials bank.

Did have a good day of rolling, got 3 DDoor scrolls on Argo, as well as a 500XP sentient gem and Ginger Cat pet (legal papers available ensuring it is not a 'kitten mill' ginger) on Thelanis.
With one or two traders on each server, each time you pull an XP gem could be traded off and added to a sentient item. I'd say I get I'm getting one or two sentient xp gems a week, they are piling up!

If you've got items you'd like to trade let one of the kind patrons listing items in the thread know and by listing your own wares, you too could be the first to be representing your server in the cross server trade of rare endangered pets *ahem* highly attractive Sentient XP gems among other valuable items!

Right on, congrats on the sentient xp trade!
I've made multiple trades with Kynestra and Fedora1, no need to feel apprehension with such quality trade hands!

So I went ahead and cracked open those collectibles boxes and added a few other items updates to the OP.
I added color to the items to easily pick out which are the most popular and I will trade all cannith crafting mats in bulk.
I put those in grey and don't care too much what is being traded.

I count merchants trading to 4 servers.
We are still looking for trade representatives from Khyber, Sarlona and Argo.
Wayfinder is going to be a toughie, not expecting a regular rep there.

Yes, with another one or two traders listing their wares it makes that much more items to look through. Always looking for a new engangered species! *ahem* ...nice pet.

You can list as little as you like, I find people have been contacting mostly on the big ticket items.
Smaller potions or scrolls are not things people are going out of their way to trade for, I may shrink down the collectibles in my own listings and just stick with the most attractive tradables.

OP listings updated, notable addition besides the Cannith Essences, collectibles and ddoor scrolls is the Toco Toucan pet on Thelanis.

Whoever that Wayfinder person is, they are in luck. I just got a crazy roll on Wayfinder yesterday, I have a 1000 Sentient XP gem and Joseph the Mini Scarecrow pet up for trade there.

Oh ****, I been trying to "discharge" my AShards when I hit rares, wish I knew about that earlier. Trying to collect 4000+++ AShards on orion is a pain... And I'm doing monster manual on all other servers, got loose shards here and there...

I went ahead and listed the amount of astral shards I have on the various servers. Just keep in mind the AS AH "fee" (30%?). So if we agree to buy something from each other at 30AS, we will only net 20AS. However, the loss is worth it to me in order to get AS on my main server.

I think you can direct trade the AS to circumvent tax, like plat.

Yeah, the bound stuff is really annoying when you can't use it or don't want it. Someone suggested that a lot of the bound items are DDO Store purchasable items so they don't want them being tradable, thus reducing sales.

It sucks to do it initially, but once done it becomes easy to update. Initially it took me like half hr per server to list? Something like that.

That's why I just counted the big things like Jeweler Toolkits, Sentient XP, Creature Companions, and such. Then just a generic "Ingredient/Collectables/Plat" or whatever. That only takes like 5 minutes per server.

For me 'most likely' in the sense that I will always add them to a bigger trade and the trade partner will most likely be interested in having them thrown on top. Any other scrolls, pots or knickknacks are not going to drive a trade and often are unwanted. Most often I'm seeing contact on Sentient XP, Jewelers Kits, and to a lesser degree, pets.

Not a prob! An easy list of the most tradable items on each server is a good start, you can even do a quick total while you do a roll one day.
After that you can add more detail as you like.
Once you've got the list up you can make adjustments as you like, I make changes whenever I get a big pull like a Jewelers Kit or Sentient XP, then I'll add the smaller items I have listed at the same time.
That makes for a tradable update maybe once a week or so.

For the most recent update I have a Jewelers Kit on G-Land and a very rare Storm Horns Owl Bear pet available for any takers from Thelanis who may be interested.

I have the cutie on display in the store window at the moment.

I was super surprised on Sarlona the other day, on a Silver 100 roll I got a +2 Racial Action Point tome. Can't use it (already have +2 racial) and can't sell/trade it. I can't even turn it in for Purified Eberron Dragonshards. So not sure it's even worth the inventory spot in my bank. lol

There is a conspiracy, but the way I see it they conspire to NOT let you roll good on your main server. lol

I started keeping track, and on my main server, no matter when I do it in the rotation, I get a 20 or under about 9 out of 10 times. When I do get a roll of 80+, I get something lame like a potion of alchemical intimidation or some exclusive hair dye. :(

OK back home and back in business!
Tried to keep the rolling going with my laptop although it was challenging with the recent connectivity problems with mac computers.

Along with the Ddoor scrolls, Collectibles and Cannith Essences I did get a Jewelers Kit on Argonnessen and Cannith as well as Omnispell Dust on Ghallanda. All added to the OP!

I just checked and we do indeed get dice rolls on the new Hardcore server so that means more stuff to trade!
I'll be on there regularly too I believe so wouldn't mind trading to the new server.

Don't bother trading. At the end (Nov 15) you'll get a free transfer of any characters off Hardcore (dead or alive) along with anything in their inventory and personal bank.

When the Hardcore League ends on November 15, players will have a limited time to transfer any character from the Hardcore Server to any of the existing DDO servers of their choice - even characters who have died.

First of all, I would either have to get another character space or kill a bank toon and do some backpack tetris to allow for a transfer back to Orien. At this point I am reluctant to consider either of those options.
On the other hand, moving a Hardcore toon to another server with tradable items could provide for some strategic trading possibilities.
Anyway, I am playing on the Hardcore server so will keep rolling there and see what comes up for the time being.

If you earn 100 favor on Hardcore, you'll earn all the first time DDO Point bonuses, (you get 25 DDO points at 5, 25, and 50 as well as 100 favor) which would help pay for the extra character slot. Then just see if the stuff you rolled is worth the additional cost.

For the Hardcore server, you may want to have a separate die roller character who holds on to tradables or be moving items that you will want to trade or transfer to the shared bank right away.
All items in the bank and inventory of a questing character will be lost when the character dies so only have items that are being worn or items you don't mind losing upon death.
More generally, this includes platinum or handy gear that you are holding on to from lower levels or higher level stuff that you will want to move into - keep these items on shared storage also.

If you are talking about doing cross-server trading during Hardcore League, then yes this is a good idea.

However, I will not be doing cross server trades from the Hardcore server, since I can just transfer my characters over to my main server for free at the end. I have at least 4 unused character slots so it won't be an issue for me personally.

Also, just some clarification. You can still transfer a character that dies with anything he had on him or in his bank at the time of death. If there are items still in the shared bank at the end of hardcore league, I don't know if a living character will be able to pull stuff out, or if the server itself will be inaccessible and all you can do is use the transfer option from the launcher (which does not require logging into the server). So I would say make sure on the last day or two of the event to clear out the shared bank to a (living) character you are going to transfer.

Again, from the Hardcore FAQ:

What happens to the items in your Shared Bank when a character dies?

Items that are in your Shared Bank will remain in your Shared Bank, even if the character who stored them is lost. Items on your character will remain on that character even in death. There is no Shared Bank in the Land of Lost Souls, so plan accordingly.

What happens to my characters at the end of the Hardcore League?

At the end of the Hardcore League, we will be offering free Character Transfers to all characters - living or dead. Dead characters will be able to find their way back to the land of the living once they set foot on a non-Hardcore server. Characters will also bring their personal inventory with them, as with a regular character transfer. Note that normal character transfer restrictions apply - shared bank items, guild airships, TR caches, etc will not transfer off the server.

Yes, it would probably best to organize items to characters that you want to move to other servers on the final days of the Hardcore server. I have been accumulating some gear on the hardcore server which I wouldn't mind if I lost from a shared bank in the case of a complete wipe so may just take my chances and leave them there.

It will be interesting to see how the character transfer prospect pans out. It looks to be a lot of manual labor so the feasible of transferring an entire server of characters is likely to be a time/work consideration for the devs. Naming will also be an issue, I am using the same name for one of my characters on the Hardcore server so to transfer that character to my home server I will probably get a '-1' after the name. I wonder if this can be deleted on a return transfer to a future hardcore server - I have my doubts on that count. A further question is what kind of items can be moved back to the hardcore server on a future return.

Another point of consideration is that a 'dead' character is different from a 'deleted' character. You can keep dead characters as they are in a character slot on the Hardcore server and transfer them with their belongings to another server after if you want to. I have deleted my first couple of characters in order to keep the same name. I haven't seen this dealt with directly in the Hardcore FAQs but I would assume that a deleted character is beyond recovery or transfer. My first couple of characters didn't really have anything of worth so that is fine but if you do want to transfer any belongings then you will want to keep that character dead in your inventory and create a completely different character with a different name if you want to continue playing on the Hardcore server.

For the most part, it does look as though the ability to transfer characters and items from the Hardcore server will make cross server trades unnecessary. Nevertheless, the dice rolling continues!
Beyond the Collectibles and Cannith Essences on almost all servers, I got a Collapsible Hole on Ghallanda and another 75 Astral Shards on Sarlona for a total of 150 there.

It will be interesting to see how the character transfer prospect pans out.

I asked the question directly to Cordovan during one of his live streams, and he explained that the mechanic used is the same as they currently use to transfer characters. In other words, no manual intervention needed and it is pretty streamlined. I have gone through the process twice, once the old way where you submit a ticket (which worked fine but took a few days) and once using the transfer option available on the login GUI of the launcher which is super easy.

A couple of points - if you delete a character there is no getting it back or transferring it. You can, however, transfer a dead character from hardcore if you leave it in the land of lost souls instead of deleting it. If the name already exists on the receiving server, yes, you will get a -1 (or similar) appended to the name along with a free "Character Rename" token. Also, as far as I can gather, there will not be a transfer option FROM a standard server TO a hardcore server. At least that was the way it looks in the FAQ.

So after getting a couple mediocre gold rolls, the next 4 servers in a row I get skunked with <20, so 1000XP and some plat.

Then to add insult to injury, the next two servers in a row I do pretty good, a 94 and a 97 on gold. However, my awesome gold reward for rolling so high is.... An exclusive hair dye on one server and a potion of alchemical intimidation on the other. ***?

Well for the first time in forver I actually rolled a 100 gold - on my main server (never happens).

I got an ugly cosmetic (traded at Hall of Heroes for dust, looked like a devil halloween costume) and a +5 Lesser Heart. Now mind you, I'm not complaining, that's a decent prize, but honestly in 10 years of playing I have actually used a LHoW maybe 2-3 times. Might be useful next time I do an iconic life but don't want to keep the 1st level of whatever.

You would have to post something on the AS AH for someone to purchase (losing the standard 30%) and then do the same on the other server.

So since Orien is where you want the AS, you would have someone from Thelanis post something common and cheap (like a potion of cure disease) for 100AS. You would spend your 100AS on this (no one else will) and the person on Thelanis now has aprox 70 AS.

Then you post something common and cheap on Orien the same way, and that other person would purchase it.

Unlike platinum, Astral Shards cannot be directly traded with another player (except via Shard Exchange).

To be honest, for the last several weeks every time I roll a gold in the 90's I've been getting something stupid like a potion of alchemical intimidation or a potion of titan's grip that lasts 1 minute. And to add insult to injury when I roll a silver in the 90's I've been getting a sun flask.

To be honest, for the last several weeks every time I roll a gold in the 90's I've been getting something stupid like a potion of alchemical intimidation or a potion of titan's grip that lasts 1 minute. And to add insult to injury when I roll a silver in the 90's I've been getting a sun flask.

Sell for 10pp also nobody wants to buy.

I dont know why though, sun flask is very useful, especially in dedras where at level your main damage would have no effect.

I horde sun flask on my main. But always use it up before dedras 3 is finished.

For months I was annoyed because I was getting skunked on 9 out of 10 rolls (getting 40 and under).

Now I have been lucky enough to roll a few in the 90's and even a couple 100s but all I get is Alchemical Potions of Intimidation, Exclusive Hair Dye, Sunflasks, and other lame stuff not worthy enough to even remember what they are. :cool:

Nice, I just used a +5 Strength tome on my tank character on the Hardcore server, all characters on the home server wouldn't have needed it.

Question: How do you all manage your items and bank space?

I keep core tradable and untradable pots/scrolls/knickknacks on the character and put most individual items (pets, sentient xp, hearts of wood etc.) in the bank. I then put xp stones and untradable individual items (outfits, cosmetics, tomes etc.) in the shared bank. I will take xp stones and store them on alt characters from there.

I just rolled a 100 gold. I got a Mysterious Remnants boost. Seriously.

The only worse thing I have gotten on a gold 100 roll is exclusive hair dye.

The 100 gold rolls don't come very often, why do they allow such lame **** in the loot table?

Yeah, I guess if there weren’t bad rolls then we wouldn’t know how good the good rolls are.

This is pretty typical of my luck:
