The purple reaper eyes (and probably others) bug out when you switch instances (entering a quest or wilderness for example). Here is a before and after:

As you can see, the glowing part disappears entirely. Retoggling the feat fixes this bug, but its extremely inconvenient having to do this everytime I change instances.
Frankly, the reaper cosmetic rewards are already kind of insulting - they cost ridiculous amounts of plat, despite having to be unlocked with significant playtime, and must be re-purchased every life. This bug just makes a bad situation worse, which sucks because the cosmetics themselves look really cool. :(
Please fix this, and while you're at it, remove the cost for the reaper cosmetics.

How often do you people loom at the eyes of your or other toons? Is there like a make over session? A catwalk?
Does it realy matter? Its not like you paid rl money for it, the only thing it cost you was your sanity and (wasted) time, for a pair of glowy eyes and an illusion of power, untill the devs take it away again to intruduce another needles grind over the same old content? To sell more in xp pots?
Pffff ...
To be honnest the 2 pictures posted here are from slightly different angles, are you sure thats not the issue?
Are you using the store glowy eyes in conjunction with the reaper eyes?
Is it just the purple ones?
Can you do the pictures again from the same angle this time? With and without the helmet?

Is this a joke? If so, very funny but use an emoji or something next time to show it. :)
Just in case it's not:
I spent a lot of time on that character getting to that level of Reaper xp. The eyes aren't some massive change to the character but yes I would like if they worked properly. I actually do spend time looking at other players and I do notice if they have reaper eyes - maybe I'm the exception but this is a thing I do. BTW, I play this game for fun - the reaper eyes are simply a consequence of running the content I find enjoyable.
As for the pictures being slightly off, that was only because the character was at different points in the idle animation when I took the screenshots. I took the SS of the broken eyes first then retoggled the eyes without moving at all and took the SS of the eyes in their normal state. The eyes are broken regardless of what angle I look at them, and it's very noticeable.
I'm not using glowy store eyes (they can't be used at the same time as the helmet), there was another thread list above showing the same problem with the fire eyes, and no, I won't take the picture again. It fully illustrates the problem already.
Thanks.

Too be honest i think your being self conscious, :P.
I don't notice it at all when other people have their eyes on, i'm to busy thinking WOW!
Too be honest i'd rather DDO fix other stuff such at the new power surge glitch where you do not have all 8 charges only 5.
I think DDO should focus on gameplay rather than cosmetic glitches. But i do agree that the price needs to be cut!
Not trying to be rude, just my opinion. :)
Take care!

I don't really care what others think about my characters, I only care that they look cool to me (although I would prefer if others liked them! :)). I don't even know if this bug affects how others see my reaper eyes, but it does affect how I see them, which is enough for me to complain about it. I do agree that there are many other things to prioritize over this.

on the topic with the eyes, does anyone know if it is intentional for them to dissapear after reincaranation?
Do i really have to buy them every life as they are pretty pricey..?
