Ok, well it seems we're in a rut as far as things to do.


And everyone is clamoring for new content. Being as it is that the Dev's are so overworked with Mod 8 coming (as is evident by lack of forum interaction), I'm guessing that they could use all the help they can get.


So I offer the following new quest/raid ideas for future mods, figuring if "we" the playerbase can cut out the time spent on "coming up with the idea", they can just get around to implementing it and we should be able to see more material on a faster basis.


Heck, they might even consider player designed dungeons. I submit mine below.........

Ok, so in this one you have to adventure around the landscape and fend off baby dragons while you find the lost gold chalice you have to return to the Gold Castle. You have to get various keys from different castles to open the castles to get the gold chalice. Then you fight the boss dragon before you can return the gold chalice and win the raid.

Now in this one, the princess has been kidnapped by a giant ape beast and he has taken her to the top of a huge mountain type thing (think Tempest Spine). It is your party's job to rescue her. But instead of going "thru" the mountain, you go up the outside. Trick is, he's throwing stuff at you the whole way up. Get the top, fight the bad guy, get the princess, win a prize!

(Twitch skills are a plus :D)

Now in this one, various Ogre kings have built fortresses upon hills surrounding a critical supply crossroads. They have cut off the crossroads and preventing carvans from reaching Stormreach. Your party has been dispatched to disband the blockade by any means necessary and open the crossroads. You must breakdown the walls of the fortresses while dodging missile fire from the ramparts and destroy the Ogres inside.

(Rangers will love it! :D)

Fairly straightforward, but has alternate paths! Ok, your party has heard that a vast treasure is being horded in the jungle by a Marilith queen. Go get it! Make your way thru the jungle dodging obstacles and avoiding pits to work to the queen. But non-twitchers take heart! The subterranean path requires combat and trap skills to avoid the jumping, dodging, and timing the of the surface.

(Rogues have a function again! :D)

It is an adventure arc, designed mostly for Rangers, but any class should be able to do it with ranged weapons.

The Party travels from adventure zone to adventure zone until all the bases are covered. You have your normal land (to left), your desert land (top middle), your water land (top right), your 'land where everything is giant' (middle left), your travel through the pipes underground land (middle right), your above the clouds land (bottom left), your dark land (bottom middle), and your shouldn't exist land (bottom right). The only one that's missing is the cold land (middle). Next mod: COLD LAND!

Ok, so mod 9 or 10 is susposed to let us take the battle to Shavarath. Well, just how and the heck are we going to get there? And why is it taking so long? Easy.....

They are finalizing the mechanics for......FLY!

As we take the battle to the Lords of Shavarath, we must cross the Astral plane to Shavarath. Introducing our traveling companion: the Hippogriff! As in many of our "pre-quest" arcs, our intrepid party will mount our mighty steeds and set sail across the Astral plane. But after defeating Harry and Sally, the Lords know we're a comin'. Having made a pact with various merc Gith, they send their devilish minions to prevent us from making the journey. The party must battle their way thru the Astral plane to establish a foothold on Shavarath for our invasion. Careful, don't let a Githyanki rider cut your silver thread!

This does have some merit tho.. I would LOVE to see a castle raid... especially where you are fending off invading dragons thru arrow slots... battles on the ramparts... etc.

Now of course we don't want the solo'ers to feel left out, so introducing Barbarian Berzerker Rage solo quest. Yes, it's a solo kill as much as you can for xp quest (similar to slayer in adventure areas), but here's the pickle. YOU pick the starting level of difficultly of your opponents! Say you're level 1, choose level one. Level 16, choose level 16! A super uber time killer with xp and prizes!

Make your way from level to level killing various baddies of level appropriate CR until either.....you get killed, or you get bored. But don't take too long on any level, other wise a Tarrasque shows up and toasts you!

The Coinlords have sent you to investigate the cause of several earthquakes under the subterrane. Dig your way through the soil to find your newest foe, the Umber Hulk! However upon defeating the Umber Hulks, you discover the true cause of the earthquakes, the Hulk! Bring a full group of 12 for this raid because you'll need all the help you can get! Enjoy finding new pieces of raid loot, like the new cloak, the Bruce Banner!

The party will be divided as individual members are pushed out into the periphery of the map one by one. They must make it around the map and make it back home before the other 3 teams accomplish the same goal. If you catch up to the other team members, or if they catch up to you, the battle ensues and the loser's soul stone gets sent back to start. The reward for winning, XP and you get to clean up the board!

P.S. If anyone knows where the 'other teams' come from, you get bonus points!

The Black Abbot is back!

Having not destroyed his phylactry, Black Abbot is back with all his vampire friends and is still intent on achieving his nefarious goals. He's aquired a powerful relic which he plans on using to create an invincible army of the undead. The party must make its way through a massive quest to unlock the gates as they search for colored gears in this random maze and must do it all in less than an hour while killing less than 5 enemies. After accomplishing all this, they find themselves above the Abbot and must toss in one of their halfling allies (Makes Halflings useful again!) into the Abbot's pot to destroy it. Party collects raid loot, Halfling character gets deleated (Creates hours of fun as new halflings are made to replace erased ones! Endless replayability!).

The Dal Quor are back but this time the tide has turned! Stop the mindflayer before it eats the poor elf maiden's brain! Unfortunately the mindflayer is behind an impenetrable wall. The only way to get to him in time is to rebuild the Warforged Titan and use it to break through the wall! Using the blueprint aquired from Haywire, the party must find all the pieces of the broken Warforged Titan and put them together according to the blueprint. Hope the party has brought along some strong characters as those pieces are HEAVY (Makes barbarians useful again!) and will require some brawn to carry. Build the Titan, break the wall, kill the Flayer, and loot the chest!

Work your way through his latest fortress as you scale ladder after ladder to get to the top. Watch out though! Haywire has put traps all over the place, including lots of trapdoors with chutes/slides underneath. Make your way to the top, put the monstosty that was Haywire to rest, and collect your Titanic Docent.

Too funny! And you know what? Knowing Haywire, this idea actually has some serious merit for a "Haywire-type follow-up". Not to mention some "rogue love" so lacking at end-game.

With Half Elves beginning to make landfall on the shores of Stormreach, other Half-breeds are beginning to look on the city with a friendly eye. New favor reward for those who've attained 2000 favor, the ability to unlock half-breeds! Get all the bonuses (and minuses) of any two races. Your character lacking hitpoints? Splash in some dwarf to get those toughness enhancements and the extra 2 constitution! Always getting held? Splash in that Warforged for their inherent immunities! Going for a pure HP build? Maybe a Warforged Dwarf is right up your alley! More than quadruples the number of playable races, and hence, replayability!

Someone has killed the harbormaster's pet hampster and now the hunt is on! Using new Public Quest technology (borrowed from Warhammer Online), be the first to find the clues to discover out who did it, where it was done, and with what it was done so you can claim your prize. Was it our favorite acrobat in the marketplace with the rapier? Or maybe it was the Hobgoblin looking for the Xorian Cipher in House J with the smoked ham? You better bring every ounce of intelligence (Makes wizards/int based rogues useful again!) you have if you want to decipher all the clues and solve the mystery! If you aren't the first, don't worry, another hampstercide will occur every hour on the hour so there'll be plenty of chances for all!

Mistress Orphne is at it again but this time, rather than having a mental disease, she has a bad case of the kobolds! In order to save her life, your party is shrunk down to the size of a single cell and injected into Mistress Orphne so you can root out the source of the infection yourself. Look out for the gelatinous cube-like white blood cells as you search for the offending kobold germs. Careful where you swing that greataxe though! Some of those vital organs are important!

You've been commissioned with the task of creating four monsterous ham sandwiches to satiate the monsterous appetite of one Kargon. The ham and the buns have been teleported in by various member of the twelve, but, due to their massive size, have ended up separated from eachother on different levels of a massive laddered maze. The party must reunite the buns with the ham so everything is ready when Kargon arrives. Watch out for the deadly Cupcakes though! They'll stun you with their sugary goodness and prevent you from getting everything done in time!

Thanks guys, with all the negativity lately on the forums, we thought it'd be fun to try to make some people smile for a change. (That includes you too....you overworked dev's) :D

And you can tell we've had some "high-quality" help too. Hat's off to my co-conspirators and their uber photoshop abilities.

And again, just maybe someone will post an idea with merit and give the developers one of those little lightbulbs over their heads.

Ok, so in this one you have to adventure around the landscape and fend off baby dragons while you find the lost gold chalice you have to return to the Gold Castle. You have to get various keys from different castles to open the castles to get the gold chalice. Then you fight the boss dragon before you can return the gold chalice and win the raid.

Rather than control the populace of Stormreach through their dreams, the quori are content to kill the popluace instead. They have sent out a special assassin to murder select leaders of the opposition and you're on the list! Battle it out in this new solo quest (which you will enter randomly when you use any rest shrine) as you defend your dreams and your life! Bring your monk and hope to pull the first to be introduced epic quality handwraps (Sorry, they bind to character)!

Now you can get your revenge even when the 'other' guild has no airship. Simply get in your airship and follow your mark to any outside area. Whether that be the streets of Stormreach, the fabled desert, or Redwillow Ruins. As long as they're outside they're vulnerable. Simply drop barrels of 'you know what' from your airship at opportune moments to blind your mark. Get him when he's crossing that bridge on his way to the Demon Queen, drop your bomb when he's leaping over a pit of lava in Gianthold, or blind him while hes fighting Red Nameds in Amrath.

Recommended: have at least one bartender on your airship to keep your 'ammo' flowing.

That guy from the 'other' guild still bugging you even after you burned his guild airship to the ground, blinded him with flying barrels of night-soil, and you wish you could prove to him once and for all that you are the better man (or woman as the case may be)? Challenge him to a dungeon crawl!

The challenge is simple, be the first to get enough treasure and get out! Using technology patented in the construction of the Prison of the Planes, make your way to one of the many combat rooms and pull the lever to start the fight. When your opponent appears, the battle is on. Every time you defeat an enemy a chest will appear and you'll accumulate some treasure. Easy opponents yield little treasure and difficult opponents yield great treasure. But be careful! If you take on more than you can handle, your soulstone will be transported back to the start and you'll lose all the treasure you've accumulated. To accommodate challenges across all levels, the higher your level, the more treasure you require to win.

Now in this one, the princess has been kidnapped by a giant ape beast and he has taken her to the top of a huge mountain type thing (think Tempest Spine). It is your party's job to rescue her. But instead of going "thru" the mountain, you go up the outside. Trick is, he's throwing stuff at you the whole way up. Get the top, fight the bad guy, get the princess, win a prize!
