It constantly delights us to hear when players have chosen to take it upon themselves to be creative and make the game world(s) a better place by holding their own live events.

There have been many great and sensational things happen in the game because of this great community.

Unfortunately, though, these events cannot be officially endorsed. It's not because we don't like them, or believe in them. It's only because the immense amount of time that would be required to review and police each event would halt all production and communication we currently hold as a priority.

Recently it has come to our attention that there may have been some concerns with a player run event in the game, modeled after an official live event. Turbine cannot be responsible for, nor will handle issues that arise from player run events, just as we are never responsible for problems arising from player-to-player trades. Participating in these activites are strictly at the players own risk.

This is not to say that you should not enter such contests. The vast majority of players are honest. But you should be aware of what you're getting yourself into. This particular event has been investigated and we did not find any apparent issues.

Please also note that discussion about this event, or any future event, that accuses any player of wrong doing, either named or implied, will NEVER be tolerated and could result in a permanent ban. This falls under the "Avoid So and So" regulations posted on the forums here (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=18397).
