All about the potency!

OK, I hope I am not the only Wizard out there who is noticing the lack of good potency items lately.

I have Superior potency 3 weapons, sure fine and dandy, but... I would like something better.

I would give most anything for Superior Potency V or VI Yeah right, I know.

But, Superior potency IV or higher is what I am seeking.

To trade I have:
A tome for every stat except widsom, 2 str & 2 cha.
+2 Paralyzing dwarven axe.
+2 War hammer of smiting Halfling required.
Robe of the Magi
+5 Dex gloves w/ perform +3

Edited to add a couple more items
Tumble +10 Boots rr Halfling
15% striding ring
3 Dragon Siberys Dragon Shards
+4 int, +3 Seach goggles
+4 Str belt
+4 Str Bracers
Striding 20%, Jump 3 boots.

Those are the best, I of course have tons of plat, but no one needs that too bad, if they have what I need.

Depending on the level of the potency item, the number of these items I will trade for it goes up. For instance, if I were offered a superior potency VI mace or other one-hander, the trade would probably be both the hammer, the paralyzer and a couple/few of the tomes along with the gratitude of a Wizard for life.

I know, I have heard about the demon queen item that has Superior Potency VI or whatever on it, I have ran that quest tons of have yet to see it.

So anyone interested, let me know if you have what I need and we'll hook up and hopefully both walk away happy.

Just a random answer since I'm not even on your server. I believe you're probably talking about the torc of Raiyum-de which has nothing to do with potency (it's Greater Spell Penetration 6).

I too have run this quest often - at least 40 times this year alone - and have access to an internal guild only log of all item drops. We have never seen an item that does Superior Potency 6 - I'd be drooling if one existed. I did, however, once get a Greater Glaciation 6 1-hander from the end reward.

Thanks for the info on the Demon Queen item, I am too lazy to look it up myself. I think me and Man might have a deal for something sweet.

On Adar you can buy Superior Potency 4 items right from the vendor almost everyday. Heck, I see Greater Potency 6 items there quite often also.

So if you don't mind waiting a week or two, you'll get one for about 8k. Greater 6's usually go for about 15k on the AH, if at all.
