Rating the Game Guides

In preparation of a revamp for the Game Guides forum, we have enabled the "Thread Rating" feature on this forum, and will be unstickying any guides. I will be working in this forum from now on to help maintain and update the guides so that you can get the information easier, and faster.

Please begin to rate the guides which you have found most useful! How do you rate threads? Glad you asked!

When a thread is rated, you give it a rating between 1 http://www.ddo.com/forums/images/rating/rating_1.gif (Terrible) and 5 stars http://www.ddo.com/forums/images/rating/rating_5.gif (Excellent). You can only rate a thread once. Thread ratings average out over the number of ratings it receives. You can then sort the threads in the forum view according to their ratings by clicking on the "Rating" sort link in the forum header bar:

To rate a thread/guide, click on the thread as if you were going to read it (if you haven't already) and you will see the "Rate Thread" menu at the top-right corner of the page in the gray bar:

To rate the guide, simply click the link and choose the rating!
[For example: You can rate this thread by clicking on the stars at the top right corner of this post]

Very interesting idea...and l can see it useful in other areas of the forum as well.

And yes, l dont see anywhere in the Grey bar to "rate this thread"

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The rating system has been fixed and should show up for everyone now.

Also, the guides you had aren't going anywhere. They will now just be indexed and organized for easier access. Any guide that was previously stickied will be automatically indexed when the index is posted. The only difference now is that they will be organized better.

Was working for me before..dont worry mate, l gave your Guide the big thumbs up;)

Should be between "search this thread" and "display modes" in the top right corner of the grey bar.

Nope all that did was make me have to change the stupid color back to blue from the horrid orange default.

Same here, day two (meaning I have logged in and out, reset computer , cleared temop files, cookies and cache, etc.) and still no rating button.

I just did a full refresh (shift+F5) and it shows up fine.

Just a note, that the rating option will not show up in any other forum but the game guides forum.
