khyber Dragonshards in store

Just noticed that khyber dragonshards are available in the store. What are they used for these days? I seem to recall that they were obsoleted a year or so back when the Siberys dargonshards took their place in crafting recipes.

Good thing that I am mostly a pack rat and hated the idea of destroying the thousands of shards that I had squirreled away.

Those are the material component for the Trap the Soul spell when they updated it in U50. They are different from the ones you still have squirreled away; those are useless now and you can sell them.

no, OP is right, khyber dragonshards fragment are still sold in ddo store....the new-ish khyber dragonshards as a material component simply sold by component vendors are not sold in the store.

to OP: you can safely trash all your khyber dragonshards fragment, totally useless and they don't even drop anymore. recently i made some cleaning and trashed like 60-70 x10K stacks from my craft storage....also the tiny and average, or how were called the old trap the soul components, also totally uselss now.

what were you expecting, the ddo store to be up-to-date and not selling literal trash? since when? it's full of trash and always was! i guess you also asking for cats to fly or donuts raining down every sunday or something!? dude calm down.

i believe you still can crunch them to then trade fred for a feat exchange, at least i know i have done this twice in past few months thanks to storing them and crunching when needed in the stone of change..

those are the siberys dragonshards frags, they are stil in game like before


i'm so glad they decluttered something, hope they'll go on with those too and then moar!
