This is nice, but will this be a yearly thing now? I'm kinda wondering why you are selling the old packs at all anymore if you are giving them away every year. This will just send the signal to everyone to save their money and wait for the next coupon. Same with the old expansions. Just one month ago sharn and the expansion trove were on sale, now you are basically giving them away for free. I can imagine some people feel a bit silly for buying it now.
Why not just make these things permanently free for everyone if it is this way anyway? Or at least add the old expansions up to sharn to the VIP service?

I buy expansions right away even though they'll be on sale after a year or two. Why? Because I want to play them right away with my friends; I want the new gear, I want to run the new quests, I want to do the new raids. I pay to do things in the now not in the someday. Coupon code is the same thing, I like that'll it can bring in fresh/returning bodies, but I already get my money's worth of anything I buy.

This is a great thing. It doesn't need to happen every year but once in a while this is great. It is so much easier to get people to stay, if they are able to run with you. And since I skip expansions every other life in heroics I am able to accompany them at least to heroics.
