View Full Version : Please fix flamestrikes hit detection

Per thread title. The spell has terrible vertical hit detection. For example, in iod the pirate cove quest, after you get into the area behind the lever door in the hut there is a spawn of skeletons, half are on a rock that is about shin height on a character, half are on the normal floor. Flamestrike will only hit either half.

Not sure if it's the same issue or not but ettercaps also seem immune to flamestrike unless they are directly targeted. Ie the first pack in flies, I targeted the lead of the three with flamestrike it was the only one to take damage. Tested repeatedly.

Ettercaps just have hit box issues. Feels like some angles they are just missing the hitbox altogether.

Maybe. I haven't tried it on a melee for example. They also seem to hit a fair deal harder than most mobs of the pack, combined with a tight space.
