new quest areas for f2p platers

When can we expect some new questing areas to be allowed for F2P players? LOTRO has incrementally opened areas as they released new content. Is there any chance of that happening in DDO?

If we go by how long its taken them to decide on whether or not to give us new VIP benefits, we can expect never.

As far as content release, we get 1 xpac a year and 1 new quest pack(that is consistently flat). F2P players will never be getting anything new.

We've been getting a f2p quest per year lately. Dread Sea Scrolls & The Promise of Fire being the latest f2p quests. I'm guessing the new quest that's coming with u58 may be a f2p quest too (but just a guess).

I do believe cordovan said it was a free quest in the Fridays at 4 stream. Which probably means we'll also start hearing about the next expansion too. Free quests generally prelude those.

Sometimes. Sometimes its a prelude to a new quest series like Promise of Fire was a prelude to the Planar Eyes storyline. I still desperately want more Ravenloft but I think if we were headed back there soon something would have leaked by now.

I dunno. SSG's ****-poor communication makes them pretty good at keeping information locked up. We never have any clue what the next xpac will be until they announce it.

Some companies toss out teasers for hype... this one not so much.

maybe they will dump another coupon code some day? Why have they done it twice since I've been playing.?
the trove expansion should be the buy into the game. Then adventure packs ( or VIP, a free coupon code or ? ) and further and future expansions.
What is VIP to all this?
Access to all adventure packs.

All Access VIP would be better.
dropping a few ftp adventure packs from premium for leveling to TR for ftp filling in a few gaps in the higher ( heroic)level questing (Giant hold?) ftp?
its a legendary cap is it still beyond the reach of ftp they have access to epics now i think its been made free for all?

I think that you are underestimating there on the content
