maybe something for Friday afternoon . can we get more ftp from the coupon code adventure packs?
between what I've bought in the past and what I received from the code I have all of what was available from the coupons free to play.
but not new players.
Make more players available for group LFM.
solo is not very sociable
I haven't any clue as to the revenue generation from old adventure pack sales in the ddo store compare to expansions.
nor the loss or gain projection of increased expansion sales. and less adventure pack .

agreed.

I've encountered some players new to ddo that begin to get frustrated around level 10/11 - they just aren't ready to make multiple accounts on different servers to grind the ddo points - and even if they did, they don't have much idea of which ones they should buy first.

Really, the first character made on an account should get 1 free account-bound guest pass to all the packs so they can try before they buy, and so they can have awhile longer to learn the game and to earn some points before they're looking at deciding what quest packs to buy.

What's the downside?

If someone really goes through the effort of making new accounts and starting all over once their guest passes are done, my guess is those people are pretty committed to not buying the packs anyway, and you're not losing any revenue - and you're gaining people that can join the LFMs of the folks that are buying the packs.
