Pretty much the title...WotC/Hasbro are updating the OGL in a way that removes the "O" which is open and I'm worried this could hurt DDO

ANY IP game operates under a license from who ever owns the IP. In this case DDO has a license from Wizards of the Coast, thus is an official product. You're thinking like a bunch of dev's just got together and created DDO without asking anyone, which is very much not the case.

Changing the open game license agreement will effect those that create 3rd party products, not official products.

Say you created a D&D character sheet or a deck of cards with random NPC's on it. You funded it and you take all the profits. OGL 1.1 would effect YOU in a case like that.

Pathfinder might be screwed, but DDO will be fine.

No.

There is nothing "O" about DDO's license w D&D. It's a private agreement, not a public one.

I worry about OOTS - that would be a shame to be impacted. :/
