I was kinda disappointed that nothing special appeared since I put appropriately colored augments in their appropriately colored slots.

why you slotted a 'feareater' purple augment when the weapon itself has 'sovereign nightmares' by default ?

i ask because i have that augment me too and i have a weapon with 'sovereign nightmares' feature on it..
do they ''stack'' 'somehow' ? or what ?

The weapon does not have "Sovereign Nightmares" by default.

It only has Aligned, Metalline, a +15 Enhancement bonus, and those seven augment slots.

The Sovereign Nightmares power appears on the weapon as a result of slotting the Feareater augment.

A 7 color glamour rainbow weapon aura would be cool.

It should grant scion of limbo when appropriately filled. It would also have been neat if there were a way to slot all of the augments from this adventure pack into it.

Didn't need to.

I get Improved Destruction from the Essence of Constellation, Broken and Reforged augment. The Metalline property means the weapon bypasses Adamantine (and any other metal) DR.

Deconstructor would be totally duplicative.

Tyrande's post (above) got me to thinking about his Greater Color Spray idea.

What if it cast Greater Color Spray on a Vorpal Hit (or even "occasionally") and the "rainbow" effect would come from your mouth much like the various Dragon's Breath effects do?

That could either look VERY cool or it could look VERY disturbing (technicolor yawn, anyone? ;) ).

I still remember my jaw dropping when I saw that very first screenshot of a fully completed +5 Supreme Tyrant Green Steel Maul of Mineral that Shade (Axer on Khyber) posted in that giant thread in the DDO Forums where they were trying to work out how the original Green Steel crafting system worked.

This was great as a DR breaker for taking out Harry at the end of Parts 4 & 5 of the Heroic Shroud raid.

You'd likely have to put Red (Ruby) augments in the Red, Orange, and Purple slots.

I suppose you could put a Yellow (Topaz) in the Orange slot and a Blue (Sapphire) in the Purple slot instead.

The rest should be easy.

Of course, those substitutions would ruin your technicolor yawn. ;)

I feel happy I played in the days of "two healers and go" heroic normal shroud or hard but only blue bars allowed.

I was thinking more or less the same thing.

It could be cool if you had to slot all different sorts of "eyes" to get some kind of occasional bonus effect like Tyrande's idea above.
