has anyone tried to fill em up? if yes, was it heroic or legendary? was with appropriate augs? i mean, purple aug in purple slot, orange aug in orange slot and so on, all nicely matching?

I like silly items of this sort, but you only get to put three ruby eyes in. It would be a lot cooler if you could shove six in there!

6 Ruby Eyes at level 31, let's do some quick napkin math, using the acid ruby eye (you would need to have one of each colour though, identical ruby eyes don't stack):
On-hit proc for 31[3d6] = 325.5 damage average, time 2% proc chance = 6.51 damage per hit. No crits.
6.51 times 6 eyes = 39.06 aoe damage per hit, split between each of the elements. OK, not exactly game-breaking but still fun. How often would you get a big aoe splash though?

0.98^6 = 0.886, so about a 12% proc rate per attack. Swing a whole bunch of times really fast, including strikethrough, and you're gonna look like a mobile version of the Instinct traps in Crucible.

OK, this is obviously a silly kind of thing to build... but I've done a max-ruby-eye build before and when you have 3 in two weapons, you get so much delicious VFX.

I didnt thought about matching slots and augments. it would be sooo cool to see a hidden effect for doing so!! lets hope its the case because except for a tank not many uses bsword

I did not even realise that was a rainbow. Even if it actually does nothing that's so cool. And it had better do something otherwise that's a true waste

It seems unlikely to have anything at all since the flavor text doesn't really suggest much unless you have to take the sword to every quest in the game where you visit another plane or manifest zone, but maybe it could have a hidden interaction with shiradi's double rainbow. Or casting color/prismatic spray. Or prismatic strike since artificers are themed around hand and a half weapons.

Fill all of the slots appropriately with true color augs and then go do the rainbow puzzle in Rainbow in the Dark.

Getting double rainbow to trigger while dual wielding it with the radiant arc?

Or maybe with all the eyes on the blade it does something when you go to xoriat or go to the hidden rooms in the inn in the delirium chain.

Unrelated, but for anyone that has one does the Shadow's Curve scythe from this pack do something in an undead shroud or maybe the shadowdancer mantle or as a dark monk with the the sickle centering enhancement from gmof, the flavor text for that item sure sounds like a hidden effect hint.
