What do you consider to be fast xp?

Zerging definitely isnt everything there is to the game - but sometimes I like to really zerg as fast as possible on R1 just for the kicks of it. Preferably with a good group but also sometimes just with a group where half the members dont see the end chest or even solo.

This life I have been playing a Stormsinger bard which is a pretty decent leveling build. With a buddy I threw up a PuG and went to xp-town from level 20 with a 30% xp running. Sometimes we had a really strong group, other times not so much, but once the xp pot ran out (3 hours worth of xp time) we had reached level 26.4.

No xp stones, no ottos, nothing saved up in advance. Night Revels did help though and I believe there was a VIP xp bonus weekend :)

I definitely dont think we broke any records but I still believe it was a pretty good pace.

That 3 hours for 6+ epic levels sounds about right.

If you get a perfect group where everybody is splitting up to do all the optionals, breaking all the breakables and only looting the chests in their path you can do most quests in 5-10 minutes and the XP just piles up.

I believe if you got a dedicated group with an agreed path and behavior patterns you could go 20-30 in about 10 hours with a mix of fast high XP quests and slayers. Maybe stretch it to 12 hours if you wanted to include not ****ing in a jug under your desk.

Personally I'm more concerned about "fun XP" vs. "fast XP". This is why quest flagging is such an irritating mechanic. I like every quest in Sharn pt. 2 enough to play them over and over again, but hardly ever get to because I can't sit through the two turd quests in Chain 1(you know the ones I mean).

Legendary Cogs saga on hard - 6 quests hard and 2 quests normal (Smash and Roll Call usually): approximately 518,000 experience including the saga reward itself and give or take a bit for optionals/discreet/conquest/traps etc. with a 30% pot, 5% voice and 5% guild.

Depending on build of course, all this XP takes me around 35 minutes, or about 30 when teleports are unlocked and if I hurry.

And this is without any first time bonuses and, in my case, no VIP bonus. Take off 5 minutes to VIP-skip your least liked quest.

EPIC xp
1 million xp / hour minimum solo. In a group with good communication and division of duties, much faster.

Trap and box bonuses alone in a group will help speed things up. Of course not all quests have that available, but most. If soloing, box and trap bonuses don't always speed up your progress, but in a group, they definitely are worth it.

In general, the fast xp quest are the closing stone type of quest as they are, in general those are harder than the quest that buildup to this point.

Other than that, House D quests have a good xp/min ratio.
VON 1-4 is too good to skip past.
So are the main story line quests in the desert.

The best shortcut run is of course New Ringleader in the harbour, it shaves off a whooping minute or so.
Not much, but if you consider the whole quest can be done in a minute or so without the detour that is 100% extra profit.

first time revels at lvl 20 was very nice xp assuming you had some guildies to run you through cr37!
