View Full Version : Back after long absence and discovered all my old characters are gone....

As the title says, I just re-downloaded the game to give it a try and all my character select screens are empty. Any hints or advice?

Yes, and I've checked every server just to be sure. All the screens are empty.

Neither SSG nor (previously) Turbine deleted old characters.

Are you sure you didn't create a new (but similarly named) account when you downloaded? Could someone have had access to your old account? (Could you have deleted them all late one night in a drunken fit of pique?) :confused:

From the log-in screen, after you log in to your Account but before you select a Server, choose the orange "Transfer" option, above. See what comes up - you won't follow thru with it, but if anyone is anywhere, that will show it.

If that fails, and you have some details (Character names), contact Customer Service.

Yeah, I tried the character transfer option just to see if any of my characters came up there, but no, not a single name is on the list.

Then the only plausible scenarios are A) you arent on the right account, or B) someone hacked your account while you were gone and wiped it

It's possible to "un-delete" characters - try contacting CS, that's your next move.

Or an unhappy x with their acct info deleted all their characters!

sure you didn't start the Lamannia client instead of the normal one ?

LOL! Why would an X nemesis do that to a game and not their bank account(s)?

OP, make sure you're on the right account. For me, for example, I have two very similar accounts, only one being one letter apart from the other one. The one has all my characters, the other one being just a test account with one character to test out the freebie codes.
