Cannot transfer my character

I've tried to transfer my character Barbar several times from Hardcore to Orien and I always get a message that says the followin

I went and died and tried it again, still can't transfer. Do we have to wait until the season is over to transfer?

My character's not a guild leader, just a 1st level dice roller toon for stones and stuff

This doesn't matter, there will just be a pop-up stating that you have more characters than slots, and asking you which you want to activate.*

(* Note that this is only asked when the values change, so you can't "shuffle" between alts unless you either add more or delete one - then it starts all over again, it doesn't just keep the ones you have and ask "and which others?".)

I've been transferring off since day 1 and must have done half a dozen by now with the last just being 2 days ago.

(Noted this in another Orien thread, but needs to be dropped here, too.)

Transfers to Orien are indeed fubar atm.

I sent a mule to Thelanis from HC without issue. The one I tried sending to Orien failed twice.

My Orien character was not a Leader, and before the second attempt I even logged in and unguilded him entirely.

Also cannot Transfer a toon, my kid got her 5k, lvl 20, and not going for reaper, so i prepped it for transfer, it got destinies unlocked. warlock 20, abyss pact, dwarf
not in any guild, cannot transfer to orien

Edit update: Cordovan just mentioned it is known and being investigated :)

I just had same happen to me today,
I successfully transferred a character a month ago from Hardcore to Sarlona,
today have tried twice with two characters, and same fail error suddenly. (yes I have room slot)

Anyone else having issues today? or have they turned it off for now????

I have the same problem, I've tried several times to transfer my lvl 20 toon from Hardcore to Sarlona.
(I left the guild, and I have 9 slots open on Sarlona) I did put a work ticket in but no responses.
I do hope they fix it. I did 1-20 all solo, which is an achievement for me that I really wanted to try.. and succeeded in.

The transfer issue only impacts Sarlona unless that changed today. The devs are aware of it and trying to address it. I am also trying to transfer some items over to Sarlona:

Is there a limit to how many toons can be transferred off the Hardcore server? I think I did 2 so far, but now I am unable to transfer any.

Usually, the game client's loading screen pops up; I log in; and then on the server selection prompt, there is a button under 'Play' that says 'Transfer.' I have not seen the 'Transfer' button for about a month now.

What is wrong? Anybody know?

I wish they would just give a warning and let people make their own decision about transferring. I haven't customized anything with my bank so wouldn't encounter the issue.

They can't do this reliably without adding the warning during the transfer process. I'd much rather they shut down all transfers for a few days as opposed to adding any code at all to that process.

I just moved what was left over there to thelanis. and asking are they ava now... they have been the whole season except for that bugger oreo server.
