Should be a simple enough thing for SSG to identify anyone posting melted, rusted, crumbled, etc. to the auction house. While I know they've previously stated they're not going to police such things, I respectfully request they instead hang something like "A-Hole" over their characters' head for the duration of the auction post.

Shouldn't be too hard to add a "No Auction" flag on the expired ingredients. I agree that something should be done about it regardless.

Already seeing those on the AH on Cannith.
I would LITERALLY just give those people free plat if they would stop being tools and trying to take advantage of new players or people who don't know that those don't work.
Seriously guys, do you need plat that bad that you try to scam people?

Its not that we as human beings need plat that bad... I think its two fold:
1) We have the tendency to do evil things like scamming people;
some people even enjoy seeing people getting scammed.
It happens in real world and it happens in the virtual worlds as well.
You do not know how many scam calls I receive every day... yeah, Chinese, blah, blah...
Ever bought a 8TB 2.5" SSD from Wish and opened it up and it turns out to be 4x 2TB USB sticks daisy chained?
2) Some people use the AH as a free storage dumping ground, and "scam" just happen to be on the way.

Dev's should take responsibility for this, when they degraded them to useless they should have blocked them from the Auction house in that same script pass.

They should be removed from inventory and storage once expired.

Naw. No one should dictate what a player wants to hold on to for whatever reason. However...

....agreed, just like those vendor toolkits that were blocked from being AH'd. Same for any expired items in game.

+1
This would be a HUGE gesture toward the community - does nothing for the "bottom line" except letting (new) players know that SSG is looking out for them. And that's high-value.
