You might drop a note on this in the Hey Lynnabel thread. I had noticed the same when on a Druid life. Some reports on this indicated that some item types work, but others do not. I didn't mess with shuffling the augment around, but I had it in a ring at that time, fyi.

I remember that this worked when I tried putting in a Minor Artifact a while ago, could have been the Two-Headed Platinum piece, but not sure.

FWIW I have mine in a legendary wolf whistle and it works fine, still applies when unequipped according to Z-examine etc.

So I guess ymmv? Probably SSG QA standards again.

If anyone else has information regarding what makes the augment work and what doesn't, please chime in. Looks like it's bugged regardless.

No, it will not right now, unless there is a Docent/Leather that I am not aware of. Most of the commonly used armors do not currently work (Ravenloft level 10/29 ones with the unconscious range for instance).

What Might Work, but would be hard to find something to test:

Legacy Scaled Handwraps, do work with augments, such as Scraps of Enlightenment and the Legendary version of it. There is a ML4 Scorching Wraps that when converted work (has old flaming burst instead of Cannith Scaling), but no Augment Slots.

Old items that do not have Updated Cannith Scaling seem to work. ML7 Thrall of the Fire Temple / ML22 Epic Thrall of the Fire Temple. The Heroic Version does not have an augment slot, so if the developers added an Orange Slot to it, this would help in testing it :). The Epic version has a Purple Slot, so you could test something different, try slotting a ML20 Blue Augment in Epic Thrall of the Fire Temple.

ML16/20/24 converted Cannith Challenge Wraps work, but do not have augment slots.

Voxson had reported that his augment worked in his Necklace. So if you could find a necklace that has a Yellow or Green Augment Slot in it, then you could see if that worked for you as well.

Edit: The Epic Scraps of Enlightenment have a Purple slot, so someone could test a Blue augment there.

I slotted Topaz of Augmented Summoning in both a necklace and ring. Equipping the augment adds "Augment of Summoning" to my list of feats but has no impact on my dog's stats. FYI, my toon is a gnome pure artificer.
