What I lost (or what I care about that I lost)

Rolled a 100 on my gold roll. I got a 15K xp stone and a +8 str tome. I also got a winter wolf pup that I could care less about. This is pretty NOT awesome SSG. You better think long and hard about what you are going to do because I am sure my loss is minimal in comparison to other who probably lost a lot more... and I am not happy to say the least. Not anything the players did... this is squarely on your inability to produce and / or fix content properly.

Sorry to hear that Loki. They should extend that sale since they fubar'd everything. If they do extend it and you want to power favor farm that stuff again (no xp) let me know, I can hop on a capped guy and zerg you through it.

I know it doesn't help, but 21 hours grinding for an item, that at worst exchange rate, costs $15, equals to you valuing your time at 71 cents an hour.

you obviously weren't having any fun doing that 21 hours of grinding so this was actual work at 71cents/hour you were doing to earn $15.

And it's a worse exchange rate if you bought points on sale.

Oh you've got problems? The TR cache ate my bag of raid runes. In round figures I lost about 8,000 of each. I guess no raid gear for me.

I lost 3 epic levels and the freaking Sword of Shadows that finally dropped for me after years of farming for it!!!! I was in the raid group that had to run VoN 5 2 times because some selfish idiot decided to go inside von 6 on normal and wouldn't leave even after they died inside making the rest of us have to reform the raid and run it again.

I also spent money to buy store points and the points and stuff I got with those points are now gone but I didn't get a refund of my money of course!

All of these things really suck badly. I'm personally lacking the 75th Reaper Fragment I got while running Slave Lords to make an item (which I also lack now), but getting these things back again shouldn't take too long once I have the will to try again - which right now I don't.

But losing things such as a good 100 gold roll and a great item from an older raid may not happen again for an extremely long time - and possibly never in some cases.

Well, I won't claim I was about to pull a Jibbers when everything went down, but I am missing a Sapphire of Good Luck +1 which was the only worthwhile thing I managed to get after quite some time farming heroic Saltmarsh, even spending shard rerolling several times. I guess the sapphire was not so lucky after all... On the upside looks like I got the wasted shards back.

I was told to never ever put the green ingredients bag into the character bank a few years ago. Shared bank okay, but temporarily and quickly withdraw from another character from the same account.

TR cache? That leaves it in a danger zone for a long time.

If your character(s) need any of that 8000+ runes each; they would have been used up already and not sitting in a TR cache.

I have mine runes stored in the shared crafting storage and its fine; and since they are not going to the TR cache; they have been in tact and backed up.

This is nothing personal against you; but I do wish you
good luck creating the SSG support ticket to prove that you have those 8000+ runes of each raid; and getting those back.

Oh my! I feel sorry for all your losses. I would probably quit for a while if I lost something important.

I was "lucky" only lost 2 hours of favor grinding and inventory shuffe (new bank alt) , but even for that I have no motivation to repeat...

Seems the new mantra is : "Never play on patch day.... including BEFORE the patch."
