My gaming setup is **UNDER CONSTRUCTION** and it is time to get confortable.
Since we are going through a very uncomfortable moment with SSG, I thought it would be good to share our gaming setup. Mine as of most recently is in the kitchen, while an area earmarked for confort goes through an update. Updated room comes with updated chair, desk, stool, and maybe PC.
I'm very partial to Secretlabs chairs. We have one at our house, it is amazing.

So what do you suggest.

I bought a used herman miller aeron chair a couple years back. It was a bit pricey even used but well worth it considering the time I spend in it. Went through like 3 chairs before I got it and had to ditch them because they were uncomfortable for me (I have back issues) and I had an aeron at work and it was the most comfortable chair I've ever used so knew it'd be comfortable at home.
My desk is a motorized adjustable autonomous desk I got maybe 5 years ago. I rarely use it standing up anymore but it's nice to have the option to either stand or sit. And it wasn't much more expensive than a regular desk so was worth it to me. And again I have back issues which is why I wanted the option to stand if my back starts hurting.
My computer is RIP currently so looking for a new one now for DDO and making DDO youtube vids, editing and streaming. Was using an ibuypower prebuilt tower PC that I paid ~$800 for in 2016 but either the mobo or cpu failed a few weeks ago so I think I'm gonna get a gaming laptop for space and portability. Just can't decide on what I want/need yet. 16gb ram, i7 and a decent graphics card minimum.
My monitor is nothing fancy, 27 inch 1080p, 60 hz ASUS I've been using for 8 years now. It has built in speakers which is nice to save some space.
I use a basic wireless small portable sized logitech mouse because I find it more comfortable than standard size mice.
Standard wireless logitech keyboard, so nice not having extra wires.
I don't use a headset for voice - I use earbuds and a standalone CADU37 USB mic with a boom arm. Really good budget mic. I've had it since 2014 and have used it for almost all my youtube vids over the years. Gotten lots of compliments on the quality even. And nobody has ever had issues hearing me clearly over in game chat when I lead raids so can definitely recommend for the price.

This with the headrest option: https://www.steelcase.com/products/office-chairs/gesture/
Built like a tank with quality materials and comfortable enough to snooze in. It's great for fidgeting and a variety of positions. It just moves with you.
It also looks professional, which is great for the work-from-home days and professional video-conferencing meetings.
