OK this is a post to generate storage ideas and solutions and help me get a Troll race so I can bash hummies and Kobolds! if you have something negative to say or not supportive go look in the mirror and talk to yourself!

ok here we go, we will call this Long Term Storage similiar to the Shared bank Ingredients storage thats two tabs in bank. First off make all raid gear even old school stuff Bound to account. then and a 3rd tab to bank for Raid/named timed gear. Then Sell the 3rd tab Raid/named gear storage for price similair to current bank expansions and let them add 30 to 40 spots per expansion.

People get the storage they need DDO makes money! everyones a winner. (first storage slot for free hehe)

Another way to take care of storage issues is from an oldschool game Ulltima Online, to reduce content stored in game they coded everything in game with a point value rarer or named stuff higher point value, then they put trash cans in key locations thru out the world, And posted a reward list of armor sets ect with cool abilites and buffs and they only way to get these items was to trash all the stuff u could survive without to get the good stuff and the trash can deal was done about once a year.

This gives everyone lots of storage and ppl where actually saving stuff just to cash in on new rewards from this space saving recycle system. Just need to add some cool stuff for all classes (not a bunch of cheesy cosmetics, a few that change every year will be ok lol

I would easily ditch a minimum of 50% of my gear and such in storage if this happened and after talking to some friends on discord they said they would to if the recycle rewards where good enough, so imagine if a huge % of players dumped 50%+ of their TR cache and banked items for this how much date space they would free up server wide, per server.

During TR even when it was at its peak bank traffic was so heavy ppl had trouble accessing the bank. (usually when there where multiple instances of the area running.

So if you like this Idea support it and even recommend some items you would like to see as recycle rewards, some new items for the new classes or theres always a shortage of Good rune Arms and repeaters.

Or even better what if the points you earn on the recycle cans can unlock content or races and classes. We still need a Troll Race so I can use my great club stash!!!! if I could unlock that during this event I would dump alot of gear to do it! Of course you could change whats earned every year to reflect game changes or compensate game balance if you over nerf something and **** a bunch of ppl off, you just and an item to the recycle list to fix it, instead of trying to repatch or rebalance the nerf.

A troll with regen abilites weakness against fire, dumb low int penalties but ok wisdom so could be shamans or druids and since fire dmg is so predominate in game as you level up have the trolls regen level up with enhancements or feats that stack or amplify regen gear.

2. Troll sentient gem
3. DImension Door clickie 3 charges
4. Trollsih War Clubs (great clubs need some ingame love!)
5. Null/void combo item for Diven Apostates (not alot currently in game) some but ones with Nullification Void lore , that where alos decent to use in melee would be awesome. (ranged too)
6. Exclusive Summons like feywild muse and low mid and high lvl version, can all be earned with recycle system seperately,
The item would be a Mimic summons that would act as other summons ppl would go crazy to earn these.
ok the rest is up to you guys to support this can come up with more ideas to enhance it.

Must say I found these ideas stimulating. IMPLEMENT SOON! ok excuse the spelling lol Its the Dirty Kobolds they serve in the taverns, don't drink more than 20 at a time.

Very imaginative, I think these are positive ideas and would like to see the Devs develop them, unfortunately that probably won't happen since this idea was not posted by some Kiss Arse snitchy streamer.

Why do we have so many useless consumables and craftables compress the list.
Moreover, all of us keep storage cache full of exp gems to eat up after reincarnation... why?
Can't we compound them onto each other 200+300 join into 500 gem and 500 exp joins 10k to be 10.5k? I imagine each item is a different code of instance that needs to be stored

Yes I would love to see a troll race, sounds fun just a nasty trade off of regeneration for weakness to fire, so they would have to put some fire resist stuff into the enhancement tree to make it survivable. With that being said I can see an enhancement tree with growth in regen, fire resist, rage, club/ great club usage with some cleave/bashing or blunt bonuses worked into it.

And an enhancement tree with focus on wisdom for shamanistic casting of some type but totally plant, summons, or offensive based stuff since trolls are not known for tactical thinking (but no fire, Fire bad)

lots of great suggestions on this post, wish more people posted stuff like this to read during downtimes instead of ranting or negative stuff.
It's easy to complain but if people offered solutions or ideas instead of negativity it would give the DEVs ideas that would improve the quality of life in game or help resolve existing issues.

If you want to play a troll, you suck up the fact that you can't regen fire and acid. Otherwise, you don't actually want to play a troll. You want to play an ogre with fast healing.

The idea with the trash cans is interesting, but paradoxically, it will make the situation worse. Nowdays, I am not storing the majority of the loot I get, I am feeding it to the jewels. What will hapen if the trash cans thing will be an annual event? Firstly, it will lower the amount of items distributed among players. But everybody will be hoarding EVERYTHING for the next trash can event. I won't be feeding anything to jewels, because I will want to have enough trash for the good items. I will feed only the leftovers AFTER this event.

I bet many players would do the same as me.

I'm all for keeping it real and letting fire and acid stop regen until you remove or heal from it, thats part of the big penalty for being a troll. but just like in folklore games, ect if the troll gets the fire or acid off they can regen again and they would have a big incap range as in books and such trolls always pop back up if you don't finish the job. Two to the chest, One to the head.
