Warning Major Problem - items disappearing as being removed from TR cache after patch

I TRed my completionist toon before today's patch.

Returning, I boarded the airship after the patch and began removing items from my TR cache, to which I received an "error failed" message.

My Quiver of Acrality is gone!
My Experience token is gone - don't care about that.
My small amount of syberious dragonshards are gone - don't care about that.

No return mail.
Relogged, still nothing in inventory or bank.

If this happens to other players we have a big problem.

I did some testing around with this since idc if I lose some of the junk in my tr cache:

Regular named items dragged/double clicked came out just fine.

Random gen items all "failed" and are MIA now.

Edit: because I had a few to spare. Yes quivers are also failing.

Edit 2: After a relog, everything else is now "failing"

I assume that is the Quiver of Alacrity from the Abott in The Acursed Acension raid.
Did you upgrade it? I have the upgraded version on one of my characters. I am afraid to TR now.

Random gen items all "failed" and are MIA now.

Maybe this is a good place to add what I and my wife experienced early this week, before the patch.

We both TR'd and a day later discovered items in our character mail from SSG recovered from a resurrection error or something like that. I had dozens of items. All of them random loot gen trash except for some 30 slavers collars. My wife also only had trash but much fewer items.

My theory is this: I don't collect end rewards, especially all the low level quests. The game somehow thought these items belonged to me and mailed them after a TR. The slaver collars are an end reward for completing the chain. Usually I collect those but forgot this life. My wife only doesn't collect end rewards on a few quests when the quest giver is far away from the quest exit, thus the fewer mailed items.

I don't know about the OP's issue but there is something hinky going on.

Just to add , if you do and move something from TR cache to a character bank tab.. and when it disappears.. you cant move anything else .. it will say YOu dont have enough bank space to withdraw that..

experiencing same issues on main that purchased 40 additional inv slots but when tested on 2 other toons the items move from cache to inv without problem. full dimensional augment bag and gargantuan ingredient bags missing...a tad nervous...

Yep - this is 100% borked - lost Pain (of pain and suffering) and Flow (the rapier) before I realized that there was a bank "error" on removal and that no items were in my inventory.

Seriously *** - how is this ever going to get resolved with the abysmalcustomer support?

Telling people on here and not in game isn't going to work great. I just pulled a few items several which are gone. I can't even remember exactly a couple hires and cosmetics.. ofc I can't prove it or have a screenshot because they are just gone. I don't even know how this would be fixed.

I did purchase the new 3rd and 4th character bank slots before TRing.
Afterwhich, I did incur a bug where the character bank tab kept opening back up while I was away from the bank till I shut the game down.

I lost an entire "Chacter Bank's" of items in my last TR and was told by Customer Service (after a long wait) that if I could not prove I had the items, there was nothing they could do. It's just a cop out so they can "blame" customers for not providing proof of lost items. I've given up ever getting lost items back no matter why they were "lost" not to mention any sort of customer service from this game. It's just the reality.

Have I space-time skipped into a universe where that did not happen? Somehow recently when I was purchasing backpack slots on this toon, the store kept offering me more, and I might have purchased the favor backpack slots while the bank revisions were ongoing a few patches ago. Not sure if this matters. I was dragging the items into my open backpack empty space.

Glad to see according to the Dev tracker that we will be getting our missing items back.

It has been quite a while since we had an event like this.
I still remember "the day without walls" - a 36-hour period where a twitch to mushrooms allowed monsters to ignore every wall in the game.

Boy, would that have caused havoc on hardcore?

I just wanted to say thank you to the Devs and Engineers.
Rollback successful.

I just logged in and found my Fawngate in the World Between Worlds with the Fateshifter (lesser reincarnation process after level 1).
I checked my inventory and found my beloved Quiver of Alacrity safe, sound, and equipped.

So the rollback placed me before the Heroic Reincarnation mid-Lesser Reincarnation (to set up a Stormsinger Past Life).
I went thru the process of leveling up to 32 as a Pure Stormsinger, left the World Between Worlds, and logged out.
