Not sure if this a Lich or Torc issue but noticed a targeting issue with holy smite while running Purge the Fallen Shrine. The mempits in there weren't getting hit by holy smite at all (I've run so many divine lives that I'm used to killing them with that spell); wasn't even seeing zero damage or "immune", it was like the spell wasn't even targeting them in the circle. I recalled out, respec'd my DD cleric out of the t5 skill 'Holy Power' (since I had just taken that enhancement) and went back in and holy smite was then working on the mempits again. So I'm not sure if it's a targeting code issue or something about the enhancement itself that's the problem; I'm also not sure if the other alignment spells are or aren't having similar issues with that t5 ability (nor do I know if other monsters aren't being targeted as a result- could be something about how mempits are flying slightly???). But for anyone running DD, just be aware it could be a problem taking that skill until a fix rolls out.

Holy smite, chaos hammer and order's wrath used to have a serious targeting issue where they would fail to hit enemies if the 'ground' wasn't at ground level or some such nonsense and it was supposedely fixed a few months ago.

I wonder if taking that enhancements switches the spell for a different spell that actually uses the OLD versions of the spells as a template?

Yeah, it could just be that be using the old targeting code from before Torc re-worked it all for the t5 version of the spell's upgrade.

If the targetting on it (and other divine AoE spells) could be made to hit in-air targets too, I'd so love the devs. For example quests like Just Business where the mobs on the air-sleds are pretty much unhittable unless kited to ground level (or harpies in Oath of Vengeance while they are flying up high).
