On a Lighter Note, Can I Have My Old Bank Back?

This new banking inferface/UI is horrible I - don't understand how a game dev could consider this an improvement.

The old one was just awful as well, its not like there's a lack of examples for functional banks on MMORPGs..., but I still preferred the old bank.

I like the search feature. Personally, that is all I needed. I agree with you to some extent--I liked having my unnamed tabs in my bank, knowing what was in each, and flipping between them. The new means of flipping at the bottom of the screen threw me off, and obviously I can't believe they rolled something out that with a bug that makes your stuff disappear, but I think I will adjust to the new bank sooner than I will adjust to the TOEE nerf.

Whoever designed the UI should be fired, its trash.

However, the improvement is on the back-end that will supposedly allow them to sell more storage to us at some future date. Since there's no word on when yet, we can assume 6+ years.

I too like the old bank version better. While I do indeed appreciate the search function, the new tab system actually makes my life more difficult.

I have evolved to placing items/bags in certain locations in my character bank, and after many lives, trust exactly what I will find in that location. For example, I use 4 Augment bags, one for Red, White, Blue, & Yellow Augments. I space them in the bank in particular order, on each life, so I always know where to find exactly what I want. I have done the same with many other items. With this new system, whenever I pull a bag or item out, it jumbles the rest of them, and I now I must open each and every bag to see what it contains. Even placing them in a Labeled Tab is not very efficient - we only get 8 Tabs that we can label (Why?), so this new system is much more work than the old system. Perhaps as a compromise, can we have an option to choose the new or old system. Bonus would be if both can contain the search feature, not I am ok if it does not.

It'll take a while getting used to, and I'd love it if the tabs portion was a bit smaller if I don't have any extra tabs, so the screen gets less crowded, but I'd trade the crowded screens for the ability to ACTUALLY SEARCH THROUGH MY TR CACHE every day of the week.

Yeah its a PITA.

My plan is to simply ignore the new functionality and just use the search function/scroll through the list. They're not likely to fix it anytime soon. I don't use the character bank that much; though. Mostly its shared bank/mules/TR cache.

I agree it's ugly, but since it means i can search it and my tr cache, I'll live with it I suppose. But I think the tabs are just useless to me (I'm not speaking for other players, the way I deal with inventory they just have zero functionality for me since they aren't on the crafting storage, where at least I could then sort my **** by crafting system). I'm with the crowd that would like to be able to hide them.

We haven't got much choice, have we? Its either live with it or quit the game, since they will never role-back a change ever.

Yeah the main issue to me is there's such an appallingly small amount of storage in there that the tab system is just a waste of energy. Most of my characters only have the base 20 slots(including and especially my bank alts, on whom I am far too lazy to grind favor and too cheap to buy). My mains only have maybe 1 purchased adon or max 2. That's a ton of organizational ability for a borderline-useless amount of storage.

I wish they'd put the same level of organizational ability into the shared bank. Which I actually use.
