I feel your pain, i am crashing after about 10-12 seconds. Never happened before for me either so it absolutely is from the update

It's also logging me out from the character log in screen when I select a character...is that also a typical thing?

Can confirm not only instances, switching characters but also even inside quests loading into an end fight...unplayable atm.....

DDO is crashing every time I "recall." It's never done this before. There was one zone it would randomly crash, and less often if I wasn't showing cosmetic gear..

Today it crashes every recall. I was in Sharn so who knows if there's something about that area.

But also I can't get down to my lower deck on our airship to change rooms for guild buffs. Crashes EVERY time I click to take me down.

Just FYI - not having this problem at all. The random crashes one that is. This means the problem is probably related to location or system.

I'm running 64-bit client in Windows 11.

I'm not logging in on my main server until everything seems stable so I cannot speak to the airship issues.

My issue seems to be specific to the Cerulean Hills content, explorer area and quests

I had to uninstall and completely reinstall to get DDO working properly again... Most of the time. It still randomly crashes during fights. But it loads areas without crashing now.

It is absolutely related to the update. Going from around one crash per night to once or twice PER QUEST.

This worked for me too, complete reinstall seems to have solved the problem for now.
