Alot of sounds in DDO have double duty. That should end, this game should be better than that. It pains me that thinking on the subject, DDO has essentially sounded exactly the same as when it came out. Many new sounds have been introduced for necessities sake. Somewhat being the aforementioned 'double duty'. I simply had the feeling that is has been time for some time now, that DDO refresh it palette. And reinvigorate the soundscape that is DDO.
Anyone, can look back thru my history here and see and read for my affection for the finely tailored music tracks we do have. And I have had my issues. Some wonderfully addressed in some manner.
But now, I would desperately like too see and new, thunderous captivatingly rich and diverse catalog. Too sit in addition to the many great aspects that we already have, and enjoy.
Simply put, a QA pass on what was used, the type of data, the quality and the possibility or need for remastering. tuning what is there that is good and working. But disallowing for the duplication of sounds, and a reintroduction to variably different more specific sounds.
