Epic tr then iconic?

Is that possible? To do an epic TR followed immediately by an iconic TR? Or do you have to do an iconic only? I'm confused reading wikki.
I'm at cap and a WF. I want to do both an ETR followed by a IR into a bladeforged

If you are Warfoged and level 30, you can do an Epic Reincarnate to go back to 20, selecting 1 Epic Past life.
--Need 42 Heart Seeds or 4200 Commendations of Valor

After you level back to 20, you would do a Heroic True Reincarnate using the Heart of Wood or Heart of Blood. The wood heart would be to get your primary class past life. The blood heart would get your first Warforged Racial life.
--Need 20 Tokens of the Twelve

Once you use the Heroic Heart, you can choose to start over as your Iconic Bladeforged. You can then level to 15.

But according you say you are not Iconic currently and wanna do ETR and Heroic TR from WF into Iconic BF. It's fully possible.

Key bit of confusion you might be having: Iconic TR is for Iconics to do. Iconics can do ETR, but not Heroic nor Racial.

It sounds like you're a regular WF. As Baahb3 says, you want to do an Epic TR, followed by a regular (using heart of either Wood or Blood).
Following the regular TR, you'll be able to select the iconic race.

The confusion comes if you are already an Iconic.

If you are already an iconic like a Deep Gnome, and you are level 30. Then you only have one reincarnation (1 of 2 options). Epic Reincarnation, getting an Epic past life and going back to 20. Or an Iconic Reincarnation, getting an iconic past life and a heroic past life, but you go back to level 15.

You can also go back to a non iconic race with the iconic reincarnation, where you would start at level 1. You still get the iconic and class past life in this scenario.

You can Epic TR

Then immediately Heroic TR or Racial TR

Then you may start as an Iconic Bladeforged

The type of reincarnation is based solely on your current race, not any future race. Future races do not affect your current reincarnation choices.

The answer to your question is no you can only get and Iconic past life and heroic past life when you ITR at 30 but...
You do not need to ITR your current life as you are a Warforged so go ahead and grab an epic past life and either a heroic or racial past life

You will need to ITR at 30 at the end of your Bladeforged life

Warforged 30 -> Epic Reincarnation
Warforged 20 -> Heroic or Racial Reincarnation
Bladeforged 15 -> Level
Bladeforged 30 -> Iconic Reincarnation

Just making 100% sure there's no confusion:

"and just choose iconic for the heroic part" is correct if you mean selecting Iconic as your class at character creation. During the 2nd step of your double TR, you choose a Heroic or racial PL as normal.

Simply put: The process of TRing INTO an iconic is exactly the same as TRing into anything else - the only differnce is you select the Iconic class/race at char creation.

Reincarnations are always "out of" a thing, never "into" one. Iconic TR is reincarnating out of an Iconic character. You reincarnate out of the class or race you are. You reincarnate out of a maxed Epic (L30) character.

When i came back to the game after 7 years I had a bladeforged monkcher at level 30 or near to it so i thought i would etr for the epic past life then iconic tr back to 1. Nope, got that horribly wrong.
What was worse is I thought i was immediately tr'ing from 20 so i took random feats. I had to go from 20 to 30 basically piking as the build was useless and I didnt want to buy a heart haha
