Character weirdness

I logged into a server that I just use to get favor occasionally but never actually play on and had the following happen:

I found a level 26 character (I recognize the name and it's definitely one of my characters). However, the character only has 115 favor, has completed no quests above level 2, has no wilderness kills at all, and is wearing Korthos gear. It is human (not an iconic) so it could have started at 7 at the most. I guarantee I didn't buy an Otto's box (it's my alt account and I try not to spend any money on it).

Is there any possible way I could have gotten to level 26 that I'm not considering? Were there promotional events where you could start in epics that I'm not remembering?

My other two characters on that server are a level 8 (I'm positive I started them at level 7 so that makes sense) and a level 15 iconic.

It's on Wayfinder, if that makes a difference.

Edit: I also didn't transfer this character from HC. And, even if I did, I wouldn't still be wearing Korthos gear at level 26 with half my equipment slots empty.

Did you pop one of the free Otto stones given out on Way Way a whiles back?

I can't rem. if we got 1 heroic and epic or 1 or the other. I still have my freebies and can go look. That would level you up with no favor fast!

Edit ~ we got both. 1 heroic and 1 epic stone on Wafinder. Hopefully you didn't pop the epic one by accident.

That's possible. I wouldn't expect an Otto's stone to get me from level 2 or 3 all the way to 20 though but that makes more sense that anything I can think of.

It depends. On a first life build the heroic will take you to 20. And the epic might take you to 26 ish. A 3rd lifer+ the heroic will take you to L17 and epic to 24 ish.

I just used the bound epic stone that came with the Isle of Dread pre-order on a muli lifer with xp boosts and the stone only took me to level 24 (just shy 25). I have no epic favor, yet.
