.... so you don't accidentally release in a quest/raid. Recall at least has a casting time so accidents are unlikely there.

I moused over the upper right part of the screen where the xp report is, it's very close to "release" and BAM back on the ship! (Maybe my mouse sensivity for clicks is too high but still...)

Or you can start using a hotkey to display XP report - by default it's "x".

Or maybe acknowledge that when a button exists, it's possible to click it whether by accident or not - in which case some kind of confirmation would certainly be an asset in situations such as this.

Yeah, how often do you release from a quest anyway? Not very often at all, so <1 extra second to click the confirmation shouldn't really be too much of a bother. Or make it an option (default: ON)

And thanks I'll using x hotkey instead and mouse cursor will stay away from the top left screen when dead - learned the hard way ;-)

That hardly invalidates the problem with the release button.

I agree that adding a confirmation dialog to release would be good. You're dead when you want to push it, so it's not a "time sensitive" thing that requires executing the action fast.

As well, it could be a good place to inform new players that they can alternatively:
- Have a party member with powerful divine magic raise you
- Have a party member bring your soul stone to a resurrection shrine

I have had a newbie player release in a Korthose quest, not knowing that we'd be able to raise them.

I believe it's on a tooltip when you die, but who reads tooltips right? ;)

Confirmation box seems like a clunky and antiquated way to design that safety

Rather have it just be a "hold for 0.5 s" button than to have to click twice. Or give it a short induction bar so you can move-to-cancel if you didnt mean to
