I figure this has been covered before, but I'm not finding it.
I have a Cannith Crafted axe set for acid/unnatural. This axe has Red and Purple Augment slots. If I put Acid damage augs in both, will all three stack? Thinking it might register as 3 acid damages in the list of damage done on a hit, or not... dunno. Any experience with this that anyone would like to share?

a cannith crafted axe with acid/unnatural bane and red slot:acid, purple slot: acid; will display 3 sets of acid damage when you hit a bad guy. :)

Careful against rustmonsters, unless the axe's material is blueshine.
Or perhaps you have something to protect it.

Slightly longer answer. Two identical acid gems won't stack, so one could use a 4d6 and a 3d6, but not two 4d6 gems.
Source: me. I run Mirana with two fire rubies, one 8d6 and one 7d6. I tried two 8d6 and they didn't stack, with different values I now have nice combat lines of 7+ different fire damage markers per attack.

9 (plus SA) is nice and clean, at 10 it splits into multiple lines and isn't so pretty.
