raise dead scrolls, sooo much more expensive then resurrection and true resurrection scrolls? I understand UMD for them but the cost seems way disproportionate?

If it's bugging you you have a few other options.

Farm a raise dead ring clicky from Slaver's of the Shrieking Mines. A heroic GS clicky, or a legendary GS clicky.

Also maybe max out haggle.

They have become less important to most players so they have kinda fallen through the cracks.
I am sure they would consider reducing the price if it was a popular item, but they are like healing kits in a way
why bother?

I figure the UMD has a lot to do with the crappy one, vs Res or true res, and new players not having plat early on ... seems kind of like screw newbies?

Raise dead scrolls are like 600pp and resurrection 1200pp, true resurrection not available from vendors.

Or are you talking about raise dead and res. more expensive than scroll of the same level? That's true.

The scroll of Raise Dead costs less than Resurrection, which makes sense.

Minimum Level: 7; Scroll of Raise Dead (base: 612pp 5gp)
Minimum Level: 11; Scroll of Resurrection (base: 1227pp 5gp)

Healing percentage is the main beneficial difference; if you can overcome both the UMD and minimum level requirements.

Methinks the bigger issue is how commonplace death & revive has become, thus making the plat seem like a bigger hurdle than it is.

Used to be not all toons could revive & that was normal.
