Just mentioning that I'd totally buy in the ddo store something that could help me with my hoarder lifestyle and allow reincarnation cached items to be carried over without having to take them out of the cache, maybe a bag of holding that could be bought from the ddo store for ddo points per reincarnation, it would definetly help hoarder people like me that instead of having to get rid of certain loved items and sort everything out I could just move everything all at once. I wouldn't even care if i had to purchase it every life for 250 ddo points, because i would think it would be worth it, but apparently there is no such item in the game even though passively it would definetly increase the number of players who buy ddo points to get other packs, etc. how sad that I will never get to buy a bag like that tsk tsk tsk.

For seriousness though, I hate sorting my reincarnation cache, can we do something about it's size/carrying over, etc.? For example if you have enough slots in inventory and bank all items are carried over automatically, but if you don't, then it would state how many items would you have to get rid of. I mean, i already have maximum bank capacity and bag capacity and it is still not enough for my hoarder lifestyle.

They already sell this in the store - its called Shared Bank and Extra Character Slots :)

Anything that's BTA that you just want to hoard, you can move over to a mule. Though a better solution would be to go through and delete things you dont actually need and will never actually use, because that's the only real solution to hoarding - everything else is just delaying the inevitable for a little longer.

The TR cache is never going to be "improved" because its a coding dead-end...it was never intended as more than temporary storage between lives, its not optimized, and its a source of a lot of the extant problems with the database. If they make any changes to it, it'll be to remove it entirely.

They simply need to make the rewards for Kundarak and Coin Lords space permanent per character even through TR, and the cache problem is fixed forever. Basically, you'd get an item as a reward from the patrons that would increase your inventory size or bank size THAT DON'T STACK with themselves (so you couldn't get RIDICULOUS inventory space) and POOF, TR cache is GONE.

The recent dev letter seems to hold out some hope for your suggestion.

There’s even a feature that should be both a boon of better performance and something people have asked about: an updated Character Bank. Not only will we be able to offer more character bank space (finally!), but it’ll perform better from a server perspective too.

The TR cache is technically part of the character bank, so MAYBE they're updating the cache as well as the normal bank. Here's hoping that's the case!
